  1. Game ethics

Eh. When I first got here, I had the utmost respect for the "community rules". As time went on, I started to care less and less. This seems to be the case with a large number of players. I usually give bags I find back, but I understand why some people don't, and thats fine with me.
  2. Quote of the week submissions

Yep. USA hours. Thank goodness, converting to metric hours is a bitch.
  3. Quote of the week submissions

He loves speaking about himself using third person. You should hear him talking about playing with pr0s. Amusing. Shujral likes.
  4. Quote of the week submissions

Did you just call yourself a pro?
  5. Quote of the week submissions

I lol'd. When I first started, I think I took like 32 will to get max xp from silver harvesting (huh?), found out you need a 2500 gc book to mine it, gave up and reset.
  6. New tutorial ideas

I like both of them, I wonder what Learner thinks about the first lesson being about coordinates?
  7. The Heath Care Bill

I think the figure was something like 95% of Americans recieved tax cuts. I'd wager you weren't part of the 5% that didn't. Get back to me when your taxes go up. With what money? Your right about the spending, how it puts back into the economy (Reagan presidency). But for people to spend freely, major tax cuts would be in order... nobody (smart) is going to spend without being able to pay their taxes. With money that we borrow. Yeesh. You do realize we are over 11 million in debt, with no end of spending and borrowing in sight? Who cares? We can keep borrowing. The US has never defaulted on its debt, and probably never will. Why would people/nations keep lending if they didn't think we would pay it back? #edit: forgot a word. Ever heard of a country called France? Also, the US, like many countries, uses the bond system of borrowing. Countries like China buy bonds, which in turn gives the US money at the price of China owning a piece of the US. Now usually, bonds are bought and then sold and resold quickly - sort of like day trading. The difference here is that when another country buys a bond to loan another country money, they tend to hold on to that bond. Interest stockpiles over time. This can be bad, especially when another country has quite a bit of bonds in their possession. A country should never depend upon selling bonds to another country. A country with a high amount of bonds owned of another country will have quite a bit of power over how the market in said country functions. In short, you can't live off of loans forever. This should be common sense. Foreign companies own <20% of the debt, I believe. Also, most of the interest we pay out is invested right back into the US. This is common sense for people. Nations aren't people.

  10. The Heath Care Bill

You mean how he gave us 400 bucks each, or what? I'm merely pointing out taxes haven't gone up. Gosh, that silly federal government, helping people pay off their bills. What an awful group of people, right? Srsly though, I don't have a problem with the government spending, they can just keep borrowing.
  11. The Heath Care Bill

Did you know the most expansive tax cuts in American history were passed under President Obama?
  12. Selling Siggy's

I want one. I want a dragon, and a fast car, and flames, and a sword in mine. Also try to incorporate this image in. Thanks.
  13. TEAR Recrutement

How did you manage to create problems with pal? o0
  14. Guild Tournament.

    GJ!!!
  15. Guild Tournament.

Seems like you'd be shutting a lot of smaller guilds out (those who don't have a strong summoner or archer).
  16. quimbly spawn serper without reason

Me neither. This wasn't a shot at you in any way, but just compare the general attitudes in the two threads. Srs Business vs. Srs lulz.
  17. quimbly spawn serper without reason

And yet no one seems to be taking it seriously. Check this: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...50751&st=20
  18. Guild Merges

Nathan, how many "instance guilds" do you know of?
  19. Jezebelle's radu party

Implement plx. <x amount of sunlight = -Lower Charm -Lower Buddy List capacity. -Acne.
  20. quimbly spawn serper without reason

yes, many many klondike bars 4 holy. But srsly, why the double standard? This seems to happen a lot. We should either care when pros break "community rules" or not care when noobs break "community rules". I don't really care which, but its annoying that people can flame a less known player for bag jumping or serping, but when a "pro" does it, its teh bees knees! choose one or the other, kimdonethxbai.
  21. HELP Dissolved

And I would like to invite anyone from PEN to join Wing, we could use a boost in the # of slave laborers. Knowledge of MM caves and excavator cape required.
  22. I think EL is a bit too ingrained into your life when its economy affects your mood...
  23. Ilike the idea of a guild new players can join to learn the ropes Though who has the patince to be the rank 20? What if you could still be in your normal guild at the same time? There could be a seperate set of commands (#join_newbie_guild xxx, #ng to talk, etc) and a couple more experienced players could be in the guild at one time. There could be a few of them to keep the helper/newbie ratio high. Tags probably wouldn't be necessary. It could be a good option for some more invested newbies who simply need a little more guidance and 1 on 1 help, and we could keep a higher percentage of players who try the game...
