Er - these maps are now PK? Is this since the update?
-
Interesting. I had similar error log. I checked the directory and there was a zero-length files.lst there. I then deleted it and logged on again. This time after starting the game restarted again. On checking the error log I now see that all sorts of files were updated. However I am still getting that line in my log subsequently. Surely if this is an update check then it has to download that file each time to check for the MD5 change?

Happened on my old Matrox G450, which simply didn't have the required level of OpenGL compliance.
-
Hm - I should have done that first before posting (LARTs himself). Result of driver update, the Xs now appear, but when I exit the game the desktop is ****ed!
-
This seems to be graphic card related. On one machine I see the location X, and also the target X when autowalking, on another neither appear.
-
This seems to be the same (now) as the downloaded full client. And my log is filling up with the same error message! (player_slash1.caf that is)

After trying to help a newbie who was confused I've created a new char to test this prob, and it is real (or so it seems). If you do the quest to find your past it takes you to Atekel. She proceeds to guide you, and among other things tells you that the books for rose quartz can be bought from Golric! Um. Regards.

Why are you using a proxy? If it is just one machine there is no point. If you have a network tell us what the layout is.
-
IMHO you have major hardware/driver probs. As the machine is so new I would advise contacting your vendor to get it fixed.

I cut'n'pasted the code into a new project on my copy of Bloodshed 4.9.9.2. After adding the ';' that Placid mentioned it compiled fine, and also ran fine. I don't have cygwin on this box, and didn't need any special libraries. Note that the code only uses stdin and stdout, so it should work just fine in a Windows console with just the standard libraries. To take this further we will need to know the platform (Windows? and if so which?) and the compiler used. Also the *exact* error message you got.

Depending on exact details - sounds good to me! Regards (Darkstar in game)

And warning: It has a monster in it!
-
This now appears to be impossible to do without the MSC platform. Any ideas? Regards

Another thing left out of the first post:- Add elc.ico to the resource directory. Regards

Neat idea. But is doesn't work! :-( Regards
