Aww, that's quite unfortunate I was about to place a large order for mines! Oh well... You're better off mining all around where the bot stands anyways ... that way you add the time delay of having to walk all the way from from UW first, plus you're probably closer to storage for the drops.

We still don't want community translation of Quest information. That leaves either derver side translation or the client doing dynamic translation (and probably caching). What you've outlined though would work for non-quest stuff, but would possible encourage translating too much, which should be avoided.

Any changes to #ignore needs to keep a nice simple 'ignore someone totally' option for the newer players. That being said, if #ignore is changed, then the current syntax should by default be a maximum #ignore. I'll let everyone else discuss the merits of fine tuned ignores.

Not a good solution because this still puts all quest text client side for all to see. If translation should be done in the client, no text can be pretranslated.

If this was available - you would be able to search all NPC texts instantly without having to visit the NPC to check a reference etc If this was available, that also gives out too much information about quests and make it hard for changes or additions to quests without a full client update.

The NPC text is server side and would take significant work to make that multilingual even if the server knew your language preference.

I would suggest to equip them like a weapon. Just imagine what a lit candle in your pockets can cause Piper Can we shove our candles into other people pockets? While invisible on PK map? No, that would be an attack and make you visible.

That would be a bad route to thegame server. The Forums & website are at a different facility, but the game & players online are on the same machine.

I personally would hate for this to happen ... there are a LOT of counters and if you add it for one, you have to start considering the other counters and ways to control per player what they see. Gets messy real quickly.

The current EL client barely runs on some notebooks. Phones, netbooks, etc currently don't have the horse power to run it even if it was ported to them. IT would have to be a much simpler version of the client written for systems that low end.
