I installed the latest opengl drivers, and still receiving very low fps

Hi,
I'm running windows 7 ultimate, 64 on a toshiba qosmio x505-q880.
8gb ddr3 ram, i7-720qm, nvidia 360m 1gb ddr5.
It's a brand new laptop, and I mean I can run crysis on ultra high mode no problem yet I cant seem to get higher than 20 fps in EL
Also I have poor man on and all special effects turned off.

berbil, i already took the pleasure of pking him during the invasion yesterday
and yeah i know that I definatly provoked him the 2nd time, which the screenies show, but i also saved guddu from getting serped and i also enjoyed pissing him off cause he was being a complete jerk
in my opinion there is a line between the "rules" and not letting some idiot "legally" crap on me cause he is bored.

ok so yesterday this guy named bretryano came into my ogre spawn and said "sry i was here first, im taking this spawn" and i said no cause i had been there an hour longer than him. Then he serped me for an hour, and now today he came back and went up to guddu, the guy occupying the other ogre spawn and said "sry im taking this spawn from you" and guddu laughed at him. Then i told him he was gay and he serped me again. This time I have screenies
now i dont care who you are, if u serp me twice like that and have that kind of attitude, im gona spam the crap out of u, which was wat i did to him and eventually he just gave up. So yeah i provoked him the 2nd time but he wasnt there for any good reason anyway.

theres a game called elderscrolls where when you become overloaded, you have to drop items of your choice until you are at the maximum amount, until then you cannot move.
Creates some serious risk in this.

I would think of him as a decently strong pk'er, im sure hes maxed negs for maxed p/c, combat lv estimated at around 140.
*All this information is estimated in comparison of ranks, but I am 97% sure that I am very very close.
If you don't think you can compare with his combat stats, then stay away from overkill, he WILL scam you. All others, pk the hell out of this guy.

I was thinking that it would be very convinient to have a shortcut key such as ctrl+s to open the storage window while in range, instead of having to try to get a good view of the storage holder guy and talk to him..
I know that ctrl+s tho is for sigils so mayb something different.

I might be misunderstanding something but weight does not affect combat right? Other then that you can take less resources with you to use in combat when you have a low EMU or carry heavier gear.

Weight doesn't *directly* affect combat, but as stated above, some items do affect combat through modifiers to accuracy and crits. check out the differences between steel and tit armors for instance
I have to say - this look san awful lot like another thread which basically says "I am weak, I cannot be bothered to train so I am strong, please implement something to let the weak guys win fights"
I understand the reasons, but can you imagine how pissed the big guys will be? They did not get strong by finding a "make me pr0" stone in the coal mine, so why should they suddenly lose their advantage?
WHoa, where in there do I say anything about this making people stronger? I was just thinking that there could be bonuses to not filling your inventory with items when you fight, such as attacking at a faster pace...
I know that this game isn't class based... but at the same time it sort of is, although it is very very flexible with what the player wishes to be.

I was thinking maybe it would be cool if your amount of emu and the wieght of your armor could affect combat. How? Well the lighter your armor and the more space in your inventory, the faster you can link attacks, this I believe would create more classes of fighting in EL.
Now there wouldnt just be big tough warriors decked out in their best stuff... now we could have assasin like fighters getting lots of quick hits and blocks with less damage wearing something like leather.

the excuse that it can be abused applies to just about every attribute and aspect of the game, and it is abused quite often but the abuser is missing out on other aspects of the game because of this, they gotta take neg perks and miss out on other attributes, however i agree that maybe there should be a cap on this.

Alright, my idea is the appetite attribute. What it would do, is every 2 pickpoints spent on it, would increase the amount of food level you get from each item you eat. Such as vegies normally give you 15 food points, with 2 appetite, u would get 16, and at 4, 17 and so on.
This would be a good idea because for players who like to make stuff, with a higher appetite level could use this to their advantage, and don't say it could be abused... because the only way I can think of that happening is if somebody is willing to spend a million pickpoints on it, in which case every other attribute can be abused also.
