    Whitestone is 4 times bigger than Portland, and has only 4 gargoyles, that move only at night. I guess that's pretty resonable.

    Hmm, first of all, look if there is a file, error_log.txt in the EL directory. If it is non empty, post it's content here. Second, try to reinstall all the SDL libraries, they might be outdated or something. Also, post your system info.

    If one of you would create a torrent thingy, for EL, I'll put the link on the website. But EL is not that popular yet, so I don't think many people will have the client anyway...

  10. User Interface enhancement

    The harvest icon is there just in case we ommited a file name in the harvestable.lst, or maybe for some quest purposes, later on. The "You see: " is usefull because, sometimes, their name can be blocked by some object, or because some people chose to press alt+n to disable the names.

    Yes, but if the police knows you did it, and they know where you live, and they have proofs you did it, you usually don't get away with it.

    Yeah, server side bugs are fixed very fast, while nasty client side bugs are fixed at the next update. Always check the bugs forum..

    We don't actually check IPs for multiple connections at the same time, from the same IP, because many people do NAT.

    Thalos, so far only you and someone else complained about that bug, and I really can't see how that can happen... But I'll look into the code more...

  19. Your idea is good too, Sander. Anyway, the Gargs will be 'alive' all the time in enclosed spaces, such as buildings, caves, etc. And Grum, Krull is not online all the time

    This is a very odd bug, since even if the items just dissapear, the worn items will still show, unless the bug calls the function: unwear_item()

    Currently, the game has no installer, as you can see, so it's entirely the user's responsibility to do the instalation manually. Later on, after we go past the Beta stage, we'll have 2 installers...
  24. Actually... Velocet idea is VERY good! I can relatively easy make the gargoyles be loyal to a certain guild, that created them. Of course, someone like Krull, Swiss, Prometheus, etc. would still have no trouble pwning the gargoyles and, subsequently, the members.
  25. Additional manufacturable items

    We will have some more capes, and more armor, but things such as jewlery is... too much work, not to mention increased client size, more network traffic, etc.
