Maybe they should be that rare but only if theres a chance that most monsters drop them from Orc upwards. Rare should be a slim chance to be dropped 0.0001 % etc not which monsters drop them

Its all down to luck at the end of the day, people failed to realise taking the arti perk didnt guarantee Enhanced items it just improved your luck by a little bit but it was still all down to luck (which is how it should be . random)

Not a bad idea but if the cloak is given to everyone then even the people who wanted the perk removed will have a cloak + the PP's << bit unfair maybe the option is to leave the perk ingame but drop its pp.cost and make it a pre-requiste for using the cloak. ie: perk = 2 pp but doesnt do anything on its own ( people recieve 5 pp back if perk already taken, losing 2 pp but them's the breaks call it the cost of benefitting from the perk while they had it ) cloak = is on sale at npc for price say 10k but only works with a high nexus , human,art whatever. Then those who want the perk will buy the cloak and use there returned 5pp to up there nexus to required level. Those that dont have lost 2 pp but have got 5 back . Just suggestion . totally up to Ent and dont want ppl to start complaining so we lose the cape before we even get it

Totally agree LaNora. lets just hope people have learned from this ( which knowing human nature they wont have ) and I also hope it doesnt start the trend of people thinking " If we moan enough Ent will change the game to suit us ".

I for one would like to say thanx to Ent for Implementing the cape, he didnt have to and to be quiite honest after some of the comment about " being cheated and lied to " last night im surprised he has. Must be hard to try and balance the game to suit everyone and i think its about time we as players remembered that and look at the bigger picture before we want things added/removed from the game.The GAME IS NOT JUST ABOUT OURSELFS and how it best suits us but about the community as a whole. Mistakes are going to be made in a game that is still in developement and we are in a honoured posistion of being able to add to the final game with are input and suggestions and to help fix those mistakes. Ent strikes me as a person who can take critisism aslong as it is CONSTRUCTIVE and not a bitch fest,maybe people should remember that and take 5 like Ghrae says before posting.( or if a member of a guild discuss it with guildees first before jumping in with both feet ). My input on the cape : At the end of the day thats up to Ent but putting it under Artifier and not Human seems a sensible option, 10 nexus to use it ,fine by me, monster drop good idea but be nice if it was also available from a NPC even if the price was high say 100k ( Its not at the whim of the fighters then who has it ). The perk it self . i wouldnt change a thing. I think the % is about right anymore and to many rare items would be made. End of the day its down to Ent. Im just happy that a compromise has been reached Thanx

How would that work ? Since essences dont require a nexus to be made, unless a seperate Alch nexus was made !! which is more work for the Dev's i would imagine than a cape

Its like not winning the lottery and then wanting your money back and not only that wanting the winners to return there winnings as well . Doubt it. Capes don't use up pp (unless you use a human nexus of 10 or so to wear this cape??). I would immediately buy this cape, even though I don't have the perk. Nexus 10 sounds fare to me . we will get 7 back from the perk so not losing any by upping my human from 6 to 10 Nexus 10 also keeps it for players who enjoy it and not just everyone

I hope if this perk is removed to keep certain players happy then Ent considers adding an Artificer cape to the game for the majority who like the perk

You may have noticed out of all this discussion this is the only point ive taking issues with and has got my back up. Holyness does not equal moral-righteousness.There have been countless HOLY people who have commited unmoral acts and plenty of aethist who have lived there life better than most religious people. I think if we took a close look at both our life's , I can guarantee that you have not lived your life better because of your holyness. Morals come from upbringing, If you do not know what is right or wrong without a book telling you then you have had a pretty poor upbringing. If he believed in the Gods he would have prayed to them now, in this moment of stillness and reflection, but any faith he once had was lost, snatched from him like a toy from a child. His mind raced back in time, past the years of training body and soul, past the sadness and despair back to the only time he had been truly happy, back to the face of Amy. As they lay upon his palm, he felt there calming influence radiate up his arm and over his body. From the second pouch he removed three stones; dark and as black as night they were, while the other had calmed him these felt like leeches upon his hand ,moving, searching, trying to drain his body and spirit. He cupped his hands together letting the eight stones mingle and touch. He was ready Notes: I tried to keep the story as confined as possible and still try to explain some of the character .I didn’t want to try and explain all the attributes in such a short story because I found it became a jumble of ideas. so i tried to concentrate of a few i.e. : godless ,att/def magic and still keep the story on track. First story I have written since school alllll the years ago ( 13 ) so all comments are welcome whether good or bad.
