  1. Perk ideas

    Im pretty sure thats been mentioned before. It would make it too easy for people to AFK train on weak monsters. because they could sit at a spawn and go afk and all the monsters that dont attack everyone else would attack them and they take very little to no damage.
  2. Perk Stones

    This is the idea. it was just kinda formulated on ch 6. As an invasion drop or a super rare mining event. A person could find a perk stone or a "relic" that gave the effects of a perk. What these would be used for is this: A crafting item would need to be made called a socketed medallion or a moddable medallion. if it was a socketed medallion it should be makable and if its a moddable it should be a rare make on silver and gold medallions. Once you had a socketed medallion then you would take your "relic" and have a crafter socket it to the medallion thus having a medallion that gave you the perk described by the relic. This necklace would have a chance to break comparable with iron plate mail or maybe enhanced iron plate. and would be fairly expensive. the stone alone should be rare enough to cost way more than a rosto. and the necklace should be fairly cheap since it is worthless without a stone to attach it to. I think this would be awsome for a few different reasons but mainly it would affect PK i think. It would create another aspect to the strategy. since as conavar has pointed out. so what do you think?

    seems fair. and i think that was the original intention of the idea. but somewhere i got the impression people thought it better to have the medallion. but having it held in the off hand does make it fair. and also seems easier to emplement.

    I agree. ive witnessed atilla fighting in KF.. he's not a very liked guy and gets ganged alot. that has alot to do with his ubber stuff working so well. as far as sabbath saying he has no tactic.. using that armor and wep set up IS a tactic. if i had the resources i would definatly be doing the exact same thing.. but in saying that. i like gerbils idea. make the buffs go away when you die/change map.

Ok. i did a search for "summoning People" and "+summoning +people" and "+summon +people +instances" i only found 1 thread that kinda hit on this topic.. but it wasnt exactly what i wanted to propose so i didnt post there. I know this idea has probably been thought of or brought up before. but here goes. I just think we should be able to summon people to the instances. I think the npc there should have a option to summon a person. you would pay him say.. 100 gc's. and then type the name of the person you want to summon to you in the box. kinda like the add buddy box. then a message is sent to the person asking if they want to accept the summons. if they accept it then they are tele'd to the instance NPC. i think this would help b/c i know its a pain to wait on everyone to get to the npc and get all there stuff ready. i think this would make it less of a pain to get an instance group started and get everyone there.

    well. you have to summon them BEFORE you go into the instance. so it doesnt really help you get unlimited supplies to the instance. but thats no matter. MM sto is very close to the instance npc and is no problem for all to go and stock up once summoned. its still faster.

    i like it if you include the second part. and mining hydro is already easy enough if you know what your doing. but this would make it less time consuming.. takes a while only getting 30 ore a trip.. *at least the way i do it* but i think this would bring more possitive results than the 1 negative of making it faster to mine hydro.. and remember. the slot is rosto imune.. so if your pk'd on the hydro run then you can lose all the swords your holding.

    well in my edit i was making the statement assuming one HAD to pick one of the weapons mentioned. it would be nice for manuers. since frying pan is one of the few items that actually sells for higher than its cost to make *not factoring food and asuming lowest price for ings* but even that effect would be minimal. if this were to happen. and you truly wanted to help manuers and people selling the iron battle hammer.. also give each item a very high break rate. so people cant train for 3 weeks on the same hammer.

Just curious :> personally i'd just remove the item from game.. or leave it unchanged. two weapons would be good enough for training puposes.. i like the other two and not the iron battle hammer for Role play purposes..wooden battle hammer and frying pan are both flat weapons.. the iron battle hammer is blunt. but not as flat ended as the others.. *i know this seems stupid.. but its just how i think* and if you make them all 3 like that. people will still chose the one they like best and the majority will use the same one. leaving 1 or 2 of the others just as unused as they are now. thats why i think just 2 of them would be good enough.. EDIT#1 Personally looking at it. for ogres or below *maybe cycs or armed orcs now* i'd use the wooden battle hammer. then fluffies and up. if i were to use one of them at all. i'd pick the one with the best damage and accuracy and that'd be the frying pan.. so personally i'd skip the iron battle hammer all together anyways.

    I know people will most definatly not like this.. but im throwing it out there anyways.. I think we should remove the use of bags from the game. Hyper bags excluded. No more dropping things in bags to mix with or whatever.. if you wanted to make a hyper bag. you would have to use 1 key to make a bag.. 1 key to seal it. and 1 key to bring it back. Monsters would still drop stuff in bags when they died.. this would just stop people from using them as much.. unless they are willing to pay for the keys to make a hyper bag. If you tried to drop somethign on the ground. it would destroy it.. *maybe a warning msg to keep from accadental losses of items*

    well just b/c a few have broken "easily" doesnt mean that at all. it just means they fell into that chance to break.. its a chance at breaking.. bad luck to you if you hit that chance for a break.. like if you get robbed at work 4 times in 1 month.. you might say. the crime rate has really risen at work. but its really just the case that the crime rate is the same. and you were just the unlucky one to get robbed. :X
