    Alchemy is vital to almost every skill, you get enough experience in it as is.
  2. Blue Dragon Armor

    So, apparently there is a book for the blue dragon shield, but I have not heard about the sword. I assume they are in the game with the armor now. But, the ingredient list for the shield and sword are not on the manufacture web page. So here is my question: Were the shield and sword made manufacturable? If so, and your able to make them, Contact me via forum pm or in game. I would like to make a deal.

  5. Action point - Writting books

    Why not make a scribe skill or something? Make book writing a trainable skill. then let people make a variety of books from very basic(Book of Biology, etc.), up to big books... Then remove the AP requirement for mixing them.. or just lessen it.

    In EL that would mean armors soon cost millions of gc... I think some people would try and spike prices, but in time. It would create a true supply and demand based price system. Some will try and get the highest price possible, and some will try and undercut people's prices so they can sell more. Bots will play a more important role too. Also, if you don't want to pay to buy something, you can always train and make it yourself.. i think people would adjust to whatever prices were created because many people would rather pay for something than train to make it themselves.

    Nice idea. I don't know if this can be done without changing the basic structure, but if so, I hope it can be implemented without a client update. Making him grow with strength (like the ants) would add to his character I don't want to see 'Lenny the Somethingelse', he is and looks like a leopard, thats 90% of the fun. You roam c2 and see him everywhere (but not really). I have no idea if it's possible, but maybe since he is a single AI. A size increase may be doable just like increasing a player's size from the EL Shop. I realize a power related size scale would be harder though. Also, I like the idea of keeping him as a leopard and not changing his name, but adding battle scars and blood would be a cool look.

    @Aislinn I think your idea would be great, If the client devs would be willing. I think it would be a great benefit to the the community and players could get more out of the clients that the devs work so hard at.

    The coords would get memorized amd people would just camp them when they felt like killing people. Most would probably go naked and not risk rosto.

    I agree that changing the clothes (and possibly tweeking attributes) is the vehicle for change when it comes to helping people specialize as a mage. But there still needs to be revisions and additions to the spell list to help balance the power and effectiveness of mages in combat. #Edit To your initial question about being forced to specialize: This thread is not talking about forcing people to specialize in one or the other, it is about providing the option to specialize. If things were implemented in a manner like I suggested, then those who like the system as it is would stay the same, with not changes. On the other hand, in line with my suggestion, people who wanted to do more specialization in magic would have the means.

    It would make sense, that as you gained levels in a spell, you would use the same ings to cast the spell, but put more "magic" into it, thus it costing more mana.

    The point is, that making p/c detrimental to the stronger spells means you have also limited the mages max emu. The mage needs to be able to last in pvp and pve. Limiting emu makes the mage less effective in instance invance type Situations. As well as limits training. Also, we dont want mages being OP, but we want them to be able to hold their own when it comes to pvp and pve. In a sense, it would be better for a mage to be able to fire several weak to moderate spells than it would be for them to fire a few OP spells. Edit Though high lvl mages should have a few powerful spells in their arsenal that would cost a lot of mana.

  22. I like the concept of this thread (well, at least what I think the concept is),but I don't like this idea. As I often harvest on maps that have outdoor storages simply because I like to keep my storage open, then walk back and when in range click "sto All". It just saves a lot of clicking and those precious seconds that I could be harvesting. (those seconds add up when your harvesting large quantities. Or at least it makes me feel like i'm finishing faster.. who knows.) If the original idea is what I think it is, then i could do the same thing I do on maps with outdoor storages on any map, because as long as I was in range of the storage, I can click "sto all."
  23. I'm pretty sure the Elowynn just wants to be able to stand close to the storage, click "sto all", and everything be stored without the dialogue opening. All that reference about going places and what not is just a confused explanation of how the lists work. It is possible to start mixing using a list, then close your storage, and still withdraw things using the list. You can even walk away and come back if the storage is outside.

    Let's take into consideration that it already DOES take the slot for a possible armor (that's what human nexus is for) - it would only affect the boots and the sword the mage can wear. But it's an interesting thought. Actually if player had Human 10 (currently only used to wear artificer cape) it might not make a big difference since there are no items requiring human 8 and 9 mage could wear 3 items AND have full dragon armor. Your missing the point. If we are going by my suggestion. If the mage is only wearing 3 mage items, he will not be able to use the full mage arsenal. He couldn't use the strongest form of the spells since he would lack the magic nexus. But at the same time, I don't have a problem with them removing 1 human nexus. I just wanted to clarify the point with you.
