    Yep . Some of the NPC's on test server are in the wrong locations / performing badly. I know why. It's like this due some map(s) missing . Will be corrected soon .

    oh well .... I tested with that char some new things .... but puntif discovered a bug . The chain of events : - created t11 - used #color couple of times on it to test the new things - killed the char with "#kill me yes"

How to get from level 69 potion to level 99 potion First the numbers: Level 99 exp: 38203316 Level 69 exp: 6482495 Experience to gain to achive the goal: 31720821 There are 2 potions that are common use in the game Spirit Restoration (SR) and Body Restoration (BR) SR is used alot by both fighters and summoners but gives a little less experience points. A SR gives 65 exp points. Well to achive my i need to make 488012 SR and sell them To make a SR you will need 2 Blue Star , 1 Blue quart , 1 wine , 1 vial First i have to harvest 488012 blue quartz. Using a harvester cape i can colect 2 at a time. So i will have to wait 244006 * (3 sec) = 732018 seconds = 12200 minutes = 203 hours of harvesting Let's asume that teleporting while harvesting and trips to storage are 20% from the time to harvest In total will be 243.6 hours to stay in the game and harvest blue crystals . Keep that in mind and let's continue: Next thing is to harvest 488012 * 2 Blue star flowers. "luckyly" there are some bushes where u can get 2 flowers at 1 pick . With harvest cape u can colect 4 at a time. Okidokie .... Calculus: 244006 * 1 sec = 244006 seconds = 68 hours. with 20% trips to storage and teleporting .... 82 hours. Vials .... Best way is to buy Mana pots from mira and drink them . You can carry 30 mana pots ... So for 488012 will be ( 30 seconds( to drink 30 potions ) + 3 seconds to do the buying another 30 ) = 33 seconds ( 1.1 second per vial ) at every 500 vials u will loose 1 minute ( road to storage and back to Mira ) To put all toghether : 488012*1.1 + 976 = 537789.2 seconds = 8963 minutes = 149 hours Next will be the actual making of the pots: For one pot the delay is 5 seconds ... For each pot you will need to eat one vegetable and one vegetable has a delay of 4 seconds. So for one pot the delay goes up to 10 seconds 488012 * 10 = 4880120 s = 81335 m = 1335 hours On this on every 200 pots u loose 1 minute to go and buy wine . And this will be another 40 Hours. Let's make the total: 243.6 + 82 + 149 + 1335 = 1809 hours of continous game play Let's say a 2h / day of making potions ... That means ... 1809 / 2 = 900 days .... 3 years to get from level 69 to level 99 pots with the current system. And i didn't dare to think about level 119 ......

None of these ideas are my own. Anastasia: The current system of harvesting will lead to economic inflation. Anastasia: Fighters will continue to get rich initially while others suffer, but eventually they'll find that they have no one to sell those rare drops to. Anastasia: The implentation of the time limit for harvesting was a direct change which will only make the economy worse. If you want to combat deflation, you do NOT Anastasia: implent a direct change. Anastasia: You must implement and indirect change. Anastasia: For example, the required levels for harvesting could be increased by 25 levels or so. Anastasia: This would help dramatically with the hinderance of the deflation problem. Anastasia: The new formulas requiring EFEs should be done away with. Anastasia: Again, this is a direct change, and it will hit manufacturers hard. Anastasia: If you're looking to reduce the amount of money in cirulation, then eliminate the money that can be gained indefinitely. Anastasia: This could be done by lowering Trik's buying prices, and by limiting NPCs' buy/sell rates per day, or at least the buy rates. Anastasia: For example, you can only sell 5 items to Trik in one in-game day. Anastasia: Another idea is how to reinforce, to a degree, the recommended levels for alchemy, manufacturing, and crafting (and perhaps other skills). Anastasia: Let's say you were trying to make essences and you failed; there would be a 1/100 chance of damaging yourself. Anastasia: "You hurt yourself with the alchemic process! Owie!" TirasHazor: "The fire essence explodes in your face!"? :p Anastasia: That's it for my oratorical on Daxon's ideas. TirasHazor: Personally, I wouldn't want to play a game where all I could do was die to rabbits or flower bushes.. TirasHazor: While, yes, they are killable, if you don't use your pick points, it'll be extremely hard. And nothing tells you to use them, right off the bat.. TirasHazor: And books need to be rarer. :P if I, a potion maker, has EASY access to the knowledge of the best weapon in the game, something is wrong.. TirasHazor: People can't get rid of the books they have, because everyone already has them.. TirasHazor: As for harvesting, Slowing resources isn't the best way to go about attempting to balance the economy, if you ask me.. TirasHazor: Slowing the manufacturing process, and, if needed, to compensate, raise the amount of experience you get for making things, by a small amount. TirasHazor: Um TirasHazor: It shouldn't be slowed for everything, though, just things like hammering a bunch of metal into a blade would take a while, but making an essences shouldn't ta TirasHazor: take so long. Rogue: roc Roc: Ok, I was unfortunatly AFk A bit, if I am repeating anything I apologize Roc: I think that the new harvesting system is a good idea, however it does need a few tweaks. My Ideas Include Roc: 1. Harvest speed should be level based. Manufacturing as well. Someone with a low harvest will invariably harvest more slowly than someone who has a high harve Roc: 2. Some items should be a different speed due to the difficulty of harvesting. Harvesting a vegetable should be easy to harvest, and Tit Ore should be much slo Roc: 3. Harvesting speed should slow down the longer someone is harvesting in one continuous sitting. Sort of like the harvesting exp limit, the more you harvest in Roc: one hour, the slower you get Roc: 4. Now that harvesting is much slower anyways, Teleport nexus should be abolished. It was implemented to slow people down, now we have something else Roc: 5. Adding the gloves for sulfur is a great idea, but it should also be carried further for items like roses as well. They should have thorns right? Roc: 6. Perks Such as artificer and excavator should have an effect on speed of harvesting and creating something as well TirasHazor: on 4, it wasn't for slowing people down so much as messing up macroers. Roc: Since the items now take longer to make, instead of taking food from person all at once, why not increase the amount of food being consumed while creating the Roc: items Roc: As for the swords now requiring EFE, that is sorta silly in my opinion. It is going to result in EFE price going thru the roof which is fine with me, since I h Roc: articer but lower level players are gonna hate the idea cause the values of those weapons will skyrocket. Just lengthen the time it takes to create, add more Roc: ingredients, and/or add more items required Roc: Or increase the level/failure rate of making items Roc: I would also like to see more low/mid level enemies. I'm tired of killing rats/beavers/rabbits to get my levels up. I want a larger variety Roc: Next, what's with the wood weapons, Why can't we make them, or our own tools like pickaxes.
