My question's are Would Pk server be better if cool down was put back on to Srs only ? and Would Pk server be better if Pki was removed? My reasons for mentioning this are as follows No cool down: At the moment there really isnt much skill in a Pk server fight, just fight till one of you are nearly out of ings then diss and tele. and thats about it If cool down was returned just to srs this would make the fights much more interesting you would need to use more skill in PK rather than just trade hits. emp's would also play a part Pki: Even though collecting Pki points is fun Do you think Pki will stop some people fighting because they are afraid of loosing points? with out the pki players would have nothing to loose and just go for it ( also later you will have point buying Kill me for 20kgc lol) What are all your views on this? I agree although there does seem to be a substantial amount of players the would rather not implement trade bots the majority of players have said yes to them So the vote is in favor of having trade bots on this server thank you guys for taken part Handyman Thor

I did post this in channel and thought it might make an interesting thread So how do you spend you day? my hrs work: 310kexp 60 he's and 18 srs's used 2435 gc collected 4 invis pots and 1 mirror cape / degraded 2 tit shorts and lost 1 used 5 ts pots an hour in Handyman's life lol Also been getting into summoning lately skellies and gargs have been appearing near store So how do you spend your day ? After reading through this thread and passing on my views I just thought i would post here say what sort of Bot I would Put on the Pk server and why? If I do put a Trade Bot on to the PK server and It would be in VOTD I want to have it as low profit making as I can ( what I mean is everything It buys will sale for 1gc more i.e. Health ess buy for 6gc and sell for 7gc I am looking for something that can help the community, old players and new alike So if you want to sell something you make you can at a fair price, also the same with if you need to buy stuff you can at a fair price (enemy guilds might be 2gc profit got to keep it interesting ) How will I make gc Apart from my 1gc profit system I will be supplying it with C1/C2 /Diss rings some armour/weapons higher end potions that I will make with loader and any other Items requested also rosto's as there is always a shortage in game It might take a few weeks before I'm able to sort out a Bot But It will be coming soon (If the vote go's the right way) When I'm ready I will start a new thread getting everyone's Idea's of what to sell at what prices all with 1gc profit. Trying to keep the Bot as close to market as I can. I want it to be just like an Npc (shop) just at market prices. As its to early in the game for a Bot to make much gc I would be happy for it just to keep the market stable How would having a Bot help me (if im not that bothered about making loads of gc from it) I would sell higher end stuff that I(or my guild) make Also use the Bot to by things I (or my guildies)want in game Handyman Thor The Idea of having Bots in Pk area's would be a scream Pking and looting them I personaly would spend all day doing it. we would also get more Rangers on the Server. But Bot owners would give up supplying them and they would end up trading in Hell So imo would never work If server was busyier and guilds had players on all the time you could edit the Bot to #gm when under attack so guild members could come to the rescue also give it a self defence program so it uses what it has on it to protect its self (ie it would heal its self or use up a giant stone lol) But i think this would take to much effort to program or to implemnet

Personal I think limit to 1 Bot per guild would be more interesting (This would mean if the guild your were in already had a Bot you would have to leave and start your own guild. More guilds = more fun on Pk server.) Also agree with only active Players should be allowed to have Bots (This would save certain people from main server setting up a Pk server Bot and using it to buy main gc) Dont think you can put any limit on how many in which area because there are not that many safe places to put them (and first come first serve won't really work. If so Then I requested a Bot In VOTD back in May like I was told to do by Admin I posted its location In the Bots thread which I started. This is what really made me mad about all this I did things the right way a didn't get any where Bkc Sent Radu a personal Pm telling him we all wanted Bots and got one Im Happy to remove @3 advertising all together as this was the main gripe on the main server but just my opinion The reason for no bots at docks? Bots on PK server What do you think I know it was agreed No Bots at the beginning But as the time has gone on players are now always trying to buy and sell items With the time zone difference players are on at different times and are having dificulties buying and selling stuff So I would be happy to Have a Bot on here If it was decided that we could have bots on the PK server maybe have it limited to just 1 per player. I know not every player would want to spend $100s on having bot but it would stop some of those players having 2-3-4-5-6 of them like on the Main. I feel it could also Make it easyier for new players it they had a Bots to buy from and sell to Just my opinion What do you think guys ? Handyman Thor

Can i just say Mrfanceypants is probably the servers newest member He came over here to give it a try and found out all the bad press the server has had was not true He didnt go by what a few people that dont even play has said about the server he came to find out for his self so i guess his post is the most genuin here HE'S THE NEW BOY (No offence) Ateh Reading your post i do understand where your coming from Like i keep saying who wants to leave heir friends and go to a new game Who wants to start again and train a new char answer not everyone whether you call it a pk server or mixing server its up to you Its a pk server because its mostly PK maps so expect to get pked now and then but there are safe area's to mix The serve will never be the way it was suposed to be only because those who thought they wanted old school pk found they didnt want it any more so the server will evolve in its own way community rule enforcers its all aload of crap Bugspray decided he wanted to be an outlaw and all that has done is spice things up over here The problem is the bad press gets noticed more than the good and is often not even true I still think alot of people on main would enjoy it over here especialy those who see all the high level players on main but will never be able to compete with them over here they can be a top player in their field quiet easy we all have fun The only thing we dont like is the swearing in open channel only because we have young kids over here too yongest 10 i think. prety much anything else gos (we dont have mods so we try to stop it our selves. if you come here swearing you will be asked to stop if not be put on everyone ignor list). and you cant blame us for that I enjoy having a fighter in the 90's a/d a manuer/crafter/potter in 40's soon be 50's and a couple on harvesters i never get board i have giuldies to chat with and always peopl in channel I have made mols steel armour special swords and still fight yetis this cant be done on main with just one char and i think the multi play is great it allows me to do all this The serve dont seem as empty as it is It would be nice if i was attacked more as i roam the lands We still use the newb channel as are main channel here But still i can understand this place would not be for everyone We would have more players it there was not a $5 charge but like the piper saio it also keeps the people joining the game just to sit on ip and flame channels on main Mods stop this all the time over here we dont have the mods that is why we that play decided some community guide lines and that is all they are they have worked well If you are a new player some will pk you athers will help get you started I used to pk someone say hi welcome to the server and tell them to come get their death bag as it now has armour and a weapon in it as a gift lol But i am quiet willing to give all new players a set of armour and a sword to start them off Have fun guys and remember its only a game (even i forget that at times) But the friends you make are for real Handyman Thor

Well i logged on after i finished work was told of an invasion yetis in kf so i beamed in kf to kill this little yetis only to find Mr Hide had left at least 30 of them in there I didnt give up but the main problem was its a multi map Kept on killing them and they kept on coming I ended up with 21 dead yetis on my counters also killed a few with Harm In the end i ran out of ings so there are at least 5 left will finish them off tomorrow It was an expensive battle degraded some iron cuisess also my Col and lost my Mol But still had a great time I Rember people saying with the cap we would never be able to kill things like yetis well i guess we can and if you have a mage working with you the battle is over in 10 seconds as it was a few weeks ago with me and a guildie Keep it coming Mr Hide you cant scare us Great fun Handyman Thor

I have votd yes too As i thought it would help back in May when i started the Thread Paul B this is not a flame but you gave PaulB as your pk server ingame name that is not correct as you sold it to another player Also i agree with piper would be good for restriction to apply if bots are given the go ahead ( not sure how to add that and how it would efect voting as some people have already voted but would like to see some restrictions) Handyman

Now i am confused (scatches head) Bots : At the begining of the game i thought it was decided that we would not have any Bots in the game as time go's on they might be needed and this would change. But we have always voted on any changes over here And this being an important one needs a Vote What do you do forum pm him or ring him up every 5 minutes ???
