Why do people play these kind of games in particular El rather than other morpg's I came to EL when I had loads of spare time in my life. I got addicted from the beginning spent my first month at votd store buying up players unwanted items and selling them on. (Upset a few Mods for spamming market channel. Only about 5 Bots online back then ) Then got into bar making when tit armour first came on the scene supplying deadhead, pilgrim, lochnesslobster, Made some good gc back in them days and also loads of good friends. I ended up just spending most of my time sat in KF talking rather than playing the game telling jokes, sending each other funny links The big word here is community. For some this game is their life. You may say that's sad but not everyone is into night clubbing, or can enjoy what some would call a normal life, Some would rather stay at home talking to friends around the world And Some even meet up in RL We have seen many people come and go. Some who have passed away in RL and chose to spend their final days on EL with their friends The Game I was not here from the beginning but have seen many changes throughout the years. The game is always changing, new items, new goals, other players you want to better. They only thing the game lacked was its amount of quest but I guess it can't have everything. The game never ends it is just like another life for some. It's Free This means children and players on low wages can also play. No monthly subscription so parents love it lol. All my kids played this game in the past (did have a few upsets with the amount of chars on the same IP at the beginning but that was sorted out) Admin and Mod,s Some complain about them at times, and I have had run ins with them just like other players but Some Mods have put years of dedication in to this game and it's their hard work and the Admin department is what has made all this possible Sorry about the Story but I left Main over 2 years ago and came back to EL 1 year ago to get the new PK server off the ground and because of RL commitments it's now time for me to move on again. Serpent sword i sell for 20kgc but pay up to 12kgc just for the efe Mols i sell for 25kgc but buy ele's for 4kgc dont forget i do have to acount for losses to you get the price set for enemy's thats why it seems high to you other wise your guild would just sell what their bot buys straight to odin at a profit Most items i sell are not on odin they are just there for players who need them right away and alot of the times i just manu/craft for the ings and i garentee the item if i loose the ing's i replace them from my own storage I hope this make sence Handy

This was the point i was makin in game If ^v^ members have enough players then use them and go The allied guilds also have enough players so they can also do the same This way the lack of trust issue wont exist and you can both decide easyer on what you do with the drops Prohbited you say you just want to go and see, then do it with your guild no problem there But if we do want to go with the strongest team i think it will be a while before we all agree on how we are going to do it and what will happen with the drops and stuff like that also there is a problem of us all being able to play at the same time Handy

If we go in as a team then it will be equal share in the loot There will be no other way, any form of discrimination wont be exceptable a mule will be as important and the best fighter if we are a team As we are bashing ideas around, another way is everyone who enters pays a stake i.e. 100kgc enterance fee to kal or who ever will be gm of "inst" and at the end all spoils will go to him from this he will hand out the fair share of the loot to all anyone breaking the team rules will loose 100kgc stake just another idea

The big issue before anyone agrees still is what happens to the spoils (if we manage to beat this thing) ok Prohibited if you don't like the Gwis idea think of another solution that everyone would be happy with (you want us to join together to do this but you don't want to help the server) Until we have a way of resolving this I don't think others will agree to join forces (what happens if someone jumps onto a decent bag then gets the hell out of there, is it even possible) Liquid said last night in game you already have 5 players in your guild that are high enough to do this I think he mentioned 7 actually so thats not an issue Our allied guilds have also got 5 people that can do it So both ways we can have ago and we can check out the mobs But if you want to make the best team up and take the maximum amount of players in we will still need to sort out things like what happens to the drops (for anyone reading this that don't understand, the sort of drops you will get will end up be the rarest items on this server from what I am told so this is an important issue) I am willing to join a team but only if these issues can be resolved Handyman

Just worked out the cost of this Item Going buy the price the ings sell on the PK Server We dont make wolf bars because serp stones are so rare so we buy them from the npc 1 wolfram bar 15,000 1 enriched fire ess 11,000 1 enriched water ess 4,000 So 30kgc just for the ings on the pk server I wander how many it will make before it breaks ? or maybe wait till no break day Its a shame because its a good way to lvl engineering making Arrow Heads Loader

Give us a chance most of us are lvling more than 1 skill with mixer chars Loader is manu/craft/pots/engineering Loader will be makin an arrow head mold monday Then back to Manu training will see about a dragon blade in a week or to ok I want that black dragon armor (cos it looks the best) only got 6 binding stones at mo though (buying Binding stones 40kgc each) That is what slows the high end stuff down. the lack of rare ings on the server (We can only but rostos from the shop) so enriched ess/ B/stones /serp stones only appear now and then We will have to sort out some more PK contests The last one was fun Hanyman

The Liquid Brothers Says is all really, thats why when ever a new player joins the pk server or an old char returns everyone thinks its another bought char buy the liquid brothers They will try to scam you until they are caught out This is the reason why players on here hold back at first untill we are sure its not the Liquid Brothers trying to scam us If you do sell a PK char its always good to say that (you are no longer the owner and who is the new owner) in this thread Also if your old char is in a guild then its good to boot it before you sell it As the Liquid Brothers like to buy chars that are in guilds and pretend to be them Handyman Thor

Guys I would like to say a few words now our first year celebration is over It has been a great year for us over on the PK server It saw my return to EL after being away for quite a while We at the beginning worked the test server and had loads of fun helping to set this new version in motion It was back to old school pking and more or less every map was PK After the first few months the server became quieter because most players missed their lvls on the main server or they didn’t get time to playing both servers Also the only press we seemed to get was bad press, no one saw the fun we were having Now it’s 1 year on and several chars have reached the 100 a/d cap or are in the 80’s+ We are making Titanium armour craft lvls in the 60’s I think gambits alc is nearing the 90’s We who do play the PK server have lots of fun No cool down on food pots and rings, Muling and multi play is allowed Lots of free spawns Lots of PK Maps Players have come and gone and also returned again It was nice to see a few old faces during our first year celebrations Till Next Year Would just like to thank Sywren for all her hard work setting up the schedule for this celebration And all the players that hosted events and also that took part Just check out all the pics to see what fun we have had And finally we have people that want to join this server but don’t have access to PayPal So any of you that have PK chars no longer used I can find them new homes (forum pm me) Thanks again guys Handyman Thor
