Requiem

Would it be possible to add an option to the "Summon Creatures" (use icon) menu, "Do Not Attack Players", so that summoned creatures would attack mobs (or other summons) only. I'm not sure in how many situations this would be of use on the main server, but on PK server during invasions it is virtually impossible to give summoning support with everyone being in different guilds/no guild. Unfortunatly this starts almost exactly the time I have to go in to work, so I wont be able to be part of the kick-off events. I dropped off some prizes with SyWren earlier though. I'll try to stop in for the later events. keep up the good work Sy! hope we get a good turnout ~Req

Thought I should post, I'm Requiem and 1st_Warrior on the PK server. I am not Woodeh, nor am i his brother, or third or fourth or fifth brother, or his cousin or next door neighbor...just to clear things up. I used to be 1st_Warrior on Main, but thats Melthrema now, and i think hes banned anyway. ~Req

but banks only deal with money. I always thought of it like one of the many self-storages we have around where I live. If you put your cutom cast-iron and glass coffee table (the one with the shiny plated trim) into self-storage in New York, you couldn't just go pick it up from the self-storage in Utah. (unless we go into UPS, and overnight delivery and such, and that starts getting complicated)

ok, this works for me, I was unaware that we were treating GIWS invasions differently.

the problem is if the dragon is in a PK map, its not easy to prevent the summons from attacking your party members instead of the dragon. iirc, you could have it attack your target only, but then the summoner would have to be fighting the dragon. (course idk if the dragons area is pk so maby no prob w/e)

it seems as though Woodeh is not planning on honoring this statement, he killed me and RotationZ while we were fighting a GIWS invasion in NC. He claims that his brother never told him about that agreement...just to warn you all.

I just saw this topic lol. I let Melthrema have 1st_Warrior a while ago when I switched to PK server, didn't know he was gonna trade his stuff with other characters. I feel kinda bad, sorry for the trouble. Anyway 1st is not mine anymore, hes Melthrema's.

I stopped training summoning for a little while to focus on A/D training, so I won't get to glyphs untill I'm back to summoning. Hehe, this could be a topic all of its own

I agree, it would be nice to have some kind of definitive answer on this, even if its a 'no' (but preferably 'yes'). If your to busy with Fallout 3 though I totally understand.

I dont think cooldown is the way to go, maby increasing the price a little ^^

If someone doesnt train much, they're going to be a quick kill with or without stones. I think a stronger player could survive a decent amount of the available stones, especially with no cooldown. and I doubt that someone would wate the GC on a few giants, or even fluffies, just to kill one person.

Voted yes, IIRC the main problem before was people stocking up on lots of fairly weak stones while everyone was too low level to kill them. now that quite a few people are well leveled, even at max a/d, I don't think this should be a major issue, even with the no cooldown.

I didn't get a picture yet, but on the local college campus parking sign it says: "Student Parking Lot (PK) - right" I personally don't park there, but I'll need to snap a picture next time I pass by.

Yeah, I though it could possibly be something overheating, it just seems odd that EL would push it more than some extreamly graphics/sound intensive programs that I run.

Actually, its really strange, I have been having the same problem as well. At first I didn't think It was EL related, but it seems as though it only happens when EL is open. The computer just shuts down, no error reports or anything. Its only happened three times in the last few weeks, so its not very common. As far as I can tell, theres no particular action that always causes the shutdown either. It happened once while fighting, once when I beamed, and once while harvesting.
