Well, you shouldn't be playing around on a ghost map anyway I'll see if I can find the code that does that and remove it. If you kiddies keep playing around on NI though, I'm going to start logging when someone accesses Relnor, to make sure you're not doing anything you shouldn't . We never really decided where to move him to.

That's already fixed. Download the latest knowledge.lst if you bothers you, or else wait for the next client update. http://no-exit.org/el/files/knowledge.lst

That's because you're not supposed to remove the duplicate!

Not that I'm aware of, but you might want to wait until we get multi-channel support. Then a chat window will be a lot more useful, and it would save you the trouble of re-writing anything.

The map editor needs to have more sanity checks for things like bad heightmaps, unreachable tiles, z-fighting, and such. This isn't exactly a to-do list, but just a general goal to be worked towards. Checks can be done on save, or have a separate method for checking a map for problems. Processing speed is not an issue, accuracy is of the most importance.

This one time, at band camp, the band director's wife got pregnant. True story.

I think you can make an abridged version of the config options The most important ones are really the normal commands and hotkeys.

That page is not updated in real time anymore. PK-able players are not considered monsters, and they will show up on that page if they are online when the server updates it.
-
The encyclopedia is not under the terms of the open source license, actually. I guess it follows the same rules as maps, objects, etc. The encyclopedia REALLY needs to contain commands, hotkeys, and possibly a FAQ.

ATI swears that they're going to come out with decent drivers "soon".
-
Um, looks like an ATI driver problem to me.

If your video drivers don't support playing the game in a window, it will have to open full screen. Make sure your drivers are up to date.

This is absurd. Will a 3rd person please fairly merge the two together, and give them both credit where it is due? There is no way that I see the two of you working together on this.

Learner added some stuff to the server to check to be sure that monsters will have a clear walking path when they spawn (so they don't end up in rocks) and he wants to add other similar checks. I think that it would be much more efficient if it was done at map generation time, to take the load off the server. There's nothing wrong with redundancy, but I think having the map editor automatically check for simple problems would slove a majority of map-related bugs.

They did not create a linux version, only a windows one ... "They" . . . Just download the build from my site. http://no-exit.org/el/builds/mapedit.x86.linux.bin

Meh. Like I said, I hadn't played them.

Does this mean less bitchy articles?
