Maybe if we got everybody in the world to run in the same direction at the same time we could slow the earth's rotation... Also, if you lined up everyone in China into a single file line and tried to count them, you'd never reach the end, because the birth rate is so high. Of course, this is assuming that people are having kids while in line, and those kids are being passed to the back of the line and . . . ok, it's retarded, but it's funny to think about too.

I don't really have much of a suggestion as to what the nexuses would be used for, but I think they could be gained every time you reach a certain number of total skill levels (your levels in all skills added together). Maybe every 10 or 20 levels you get to gain a nexus. If you gained most of those levels in a certain skill, you might have an opportunity to get a bonus if you pick a particular nexus. For example, if you gain all 10 levels in harvesting, and you pick vegetal nexus, you might get 2 nexuses instead of 1. Also, it might disqualify you from getting, say, a magic nexus. This is very much half baked, and in retrospect, I think I might have stolen it from Morrowind. Oh well, I'll post it anyway.

I don't think that's a good idea. There are older players that hang out in channel 1 for the sole purpose of helping new players.

It will be broken up, not necessarily exactly how I described it above.

Blacksmith offers 1050, actually. And I sold 200 of mine for 2 plat each. That was a one-time deal though. :wink:

by manufacture I include alchemy and pots 1. upon successful creation, items appear to be added back to inventory listing (at top of window) for a half second 2. sometimes, if clicked fast enough, after an item is successfuly made, you can get a failure message, even if the item is created 3. when the inventory is changed, the items to be mixed part gets cleared These are of course, mainly cosmetic. I have some suggestions as to how some of the logic works, which I'll post in another thread. [edit: added #3]

Not if you wait for the server response. Before if you clicked mix really fast you could make several before the server sent back a message saying you had successfully created one. I almost always made 2 at a time. Twice my comp lagged really bad and I filled about half my inventory with gloves. Now manu is going to take at least twice as long.... But you're right. I did report that as a bug for a reason. I just wish I had gotten manu higher first.

kameron21 deleted his character. One of the most entertaining parts of my evening. He's now kameron22, and has sworn to be as annoying as he can possibly be to everyone, because he can't remember who tricked him. sigh.

Ok, once again, today, what time, what time zone? I've talked to people in game that are 11 time zones away from me. It's a big deal. Maybe we'll just party all day .

I've decided that instead of writing a half dozen lines of code to do it for me, I'm just going to use this: http://www.random.org/nform.html Besides, this is true randomness. I'm also amused that there's a link on the main page to NoEntropy.net (for non random numbers). So, basically, Jevik is going to give me a list of names, I'm going to generate a few random numbers (for runner-ups, just in case) and then announce the winner. I'm thinking somewhere around Christmas, maybe the day after, so PM Jevik soon.
