I'm pretty sure i'm not on outlaws, but there are plenty who have offered to put me on their kill list To get back to the topic, surely any 'commanders' should be appointed by Aluwen from a list of those applying for the position, she is after all the Goddess of defence. It could be a useful strategy especially if the commander was receiving 'advance' intelligence from Aluwen e.g. what level creatures were on what map, what direction they were approaching from etc. just a thought - DubYa

I think you are both missing the point. the bag was a db. The fact that there was no 'good stuff' in it does not alter that fact. ATI was not in the cave when Tarongot left, so would not have seen what happened and he made no attempt to find out. I personally do not see why anyone should feel the need to progress in the game by benefiting from the work of others or their misfortune, whether it be low or high value stuff. Does the fact that a bag only contains low value stuff mean that the owner has less right to try and reclaim it?

No, that is not what I am saying. The bag that Tarongot left was gel3ks db. ATIsapphire took what Tarongot left in the bag i.e. the iron ore, which was also gel3ks. It was quite possible that gel3k intended to return for the rest of his stuff. btw, why is it 'obvious' that Tarongot had left the bag for good ?

Yes, I did see him jump on the bag. A cavern wall collapsed on gel3k, and s/he was hit for 34 points. If there is no cavern wall nearby, can you imagine how unlucky s/he was?! Now promise you won't laugh! I advertised, on chat, a db I found on IP. It was one of the random spawns with 2 bread in it.

Bagjumping is taking ANY bag that you have not generated yourself by either dropping stuff or by killing something/someone. Bagjumping is theft plain and simple, and 'theft by finding' is still an offence in UK law.
