  1. OMG

    I mean, 2 fingers in a waistband...

No, kids that age do not have any sexual feelings. Just tell the poor kid it's not okay to mess with other peoples clothes and leave it at that:/

a Lexington, North Carolina, 6-year-old was separated from his class after kissing a classmate on the cheek.

Now we teach children that showing affection at all is bad? :omg:

  2. Well, even with default settings (downloaded the entire game again) I had very low fps rate.

In the previous version I had perspective set quite high  without any problems at all, seems odd that it would make such a big difference.

Not complaining though, I don't have to use poor man or disable shadows or whatever now with isometric view, it's all good again :)

  3. lol, now, come on!!!

Those anyone besides RolandR1 play Xbox?

I have one, but EL keeps me to busy to play with it ;)

Can't anyone tell me what their favourite video game character in general is then?

    Like any video game character....EVER!

Guybrush Threepwood (spelling? It's been sooooooooooooooo loooooooooong!) :omg:

Or maybe even Murray from those games (Monkey Island games) :D

  4.

That's what I suggested in my initial post :D

It works pretty good on my machine with adjusted perspective, but my wife's machine is a bit less powerfull and she must play the new version in isometric view to get a reasonable FPS. The old client worked well for her in perspective mode. And i've an old P3 667 Mhz too, with which I could play the old version, but which is too slow to be able to play the new version at all.

Can you plz confirm if the cause is indeed the far plane distance and if it has changed since 1.1.2? If so, would you consider making this setting configurable in the options screen? ;)

    Thanks,

    DrCrusher.

    *present*

I have the same problem with fps.

At first the game was really laggy just about all the time/everywhere.

Now i changed perspective (at 0.07 now) and use isometric view like DrCrusher suggested in his post. My fps is back to normal now, so not really a big deal anymore i guess (thanks DrC! :omg: ) but it was still kind of annoying trying to hunt down teh new little critters.

I do still however get a fps 'jump' coming out of console; goes from 3 to 30.
