I may be wrong, of course, but I believe it will change the 'bad' day to a 'normal' day. You will then need one of these new stones to change the normal day to a 'good' day if you so wish.

EDEs can not be made using enrichments and with the many mixtures needed - will take time to make - will the use of this be limited. I was talking about the stones for themselves, not the ones used to make enriched essies - See Radu's first post. In any case, I don't think anybody will use enrichments for EDE and ELE atm because of the low price and demand, even if you could make EDE this way.

I can see how this is intended to encourage teamwork, although I would think it will just be another money sink. This is fine with me, btw, and as a player, I would love it. However, from a RP perspective, it's not quite right, is it? I would have used the word 'realistic', but I'm sure some people would be only to quick to remind me that this is a game. The ability to dodge a bullet would depend on your reflexes, not your strength. It should be similar here IMO.

Seconded. I would however prefer using the bz2 format, since it is a Linux standard, offers the same advantages and generally results in a smaller download.

I think that can be argued to be statistically correct, especially if your level is not very high compared to the recommended lvl for the item you're mixing.

if you tried twice already and still get a partial download, you might want to check that the drive you are downloading to is not full.

That's part of the problem. People assume that they have the right to know when a perceived outlaw changes his name. How many times did Liquid/Eyafostu/Prophet/etc/etc change his name? How many times did we have to figure out who a 'new' char is just by observation? Name changes merely delay the inevitable. Don't forget that your buddies, guild, stats and most importantly, your personality, don't change when you namechange. Sooner or later, people - well, the smart ones anyway! - will figure out who you are. The ONLY way to instantly disconnect from an old char is to make a new one.

I also think that announcing name changes is bad for business anyway, since it will discourage people from changing their names - if the purpose of the namechange is to obtain a new identity. As far as I'm concerned, namechange or not, a leopard is a leopard, and is still dangerous even if you call it 'Rose'! Alchemic - or shall we say Dubro - needs an attitude change, not just a namechange.

Nathan you're so right there. Part of the problem for me is that I have a problem with my left hand that make doing the dishes very painful, and our kitchen is too small to install a dishwasher. My wife knows this and doesn't mind, but I still make an effort to do it when I know she's got a lot to do. Having said that, there's lots to do that I can handle, so I do those. What works for me is simply to ask, and I'll help even when I don't feel like it. What doesn't work is to demand I do something because you had a hard day. Well, maybe I had a hard day too? That's why I like nathan's comments. Do it together, and I don't mean just that! Talk about things. It really does help. It's amazing what you can achieve by saying 'please' and 'thank you' It's all about relationship, not rights.

Ah, ok. I think I misunderstood that. You meant trying to fool teh server into thinking you took the perk by wearing the cape. Now that would be a bug, which I'm sure at least one person has tried to exploit, and which Ent would surely have picked up on soon after the stones came out.
