I was discussing with a fellow noob, and we could not agree on when you get the extra XP from your god. I think that upon completion of a god quest, you should automatically qualify for the extra XP, however, my buddy say that you only get that after a blessing. So, basically, you get nothing for the quests, and have to give further bribes to get a blessing!? I don't think this is consistent with the non-god quests where you get an immediate reward in XP and/or items. (Especially as some of them are sooo difficult and expensive for newer players. It took me four weeks to raise cash for Gillin quest!) Also, I was wondering if followers of Mortos should be allowed to banish him during invasions - not sure if that's how it works, cos I don't last very long in invasions, and only join for fun! In any case, I think his followers should fight on his side in such events, although I realize it would be quite difficult to implement, since, for example, people from the same guild might choose enemy gods. Just the musings of a bored worker waiting to get back to EL...!

It seems he is keeping his word.... I got taken out by armed assasins in TG gob cave, losing FR cape, steel chain, a lot of magic and health essences, some other stuff and an S2E. ATI returned them to the last bone. In fact, having previously seen this thread and noticed him hanging around while I was fighting, I decided I had seen the last of my stuff. What a surprise then, when he told me he had my kit! So, thanks ATI, and welcome to the Light side!

So manuers make more serps, but the demand won't increase for them, so they will have to lower their price too. Dropping the price of something like serps doesn't increase the number sold so the price might as well stay up. I disagree. Dropping the price of anything storable will increase consumption, if only for the purpose of hoarding! I can't think of anything storable in EL atm, where demand is inelastic. Like someone said, the price of things like serps will always be limited by the price of EFE. I, for one, don't even have the nexus for a serp. However, I bought two, one for a quest, and one for the future, simply because I was able to negotiate a price of 9k for both. They can probably be had for less now. At that time, EFEs were 3k minimum, if you got them off a guild-mate.

Yeah, I agree with Smooms... The fact that we play the game, most of us every day, is our vote of confidence. Well done for a super game. The steadily-increasing player base is the proof. I am not particularly young, but this is my first ever MMORPG, and I'm not in a hurry to try another one However, like Smooms, I would enjoy the game a little more if I was #2 att/def!

I hear you, but my issue was with you bringing me into the comment I referred to. You will be unable to provide proof because it does not exist. I am new here, have made 58 or so posts, most, if not all of which are still viewable. What I would like to know is whether the reference to Eagle was an error, otherwise I will consider it an insult.

I may be imagining this, but I seem to have noticed that the first garg I attack after I sign on almosts kills me - if not for HE - before I start owning the others much easier. Yesterday I needed two remote heals to beat the first one, when usually a med garg (wingless) maybe takes 20 MP max off me! Of course it could just be me being tired after an hour on the train.... or maybe I just need to warm up! My full health is currently 65, btw

med garg is the one with wings and large the one without.. right? or they changed that? I have heard different definitions of 'medium' with regards to gargs, which is why I specified the one I was talking about Have a look at these:- medium garg and large garg Is it medium with respect to height, or strength, since, in my experince the tall one is not as strong as the wingless one? I think it's cool as a business idea. Of course, whether it's a scam or not would depend on the individual, and probably your relationship with them! IMO, only the rarer or more expensive items would be rented, since, as you pointed out, the charge on some items is sufficient to purchase them outright. I don't think such businesses will be able to supply enough volume to lower market prices, especially since loan periods can be as long as a week. Great get-rich(er)-quick scheme!

I'd better watch my step then! So far max I got hit in a radon accident was 30... although once in NC, Mother Nature was kind enough to deliver 2 of those in about 5 seconds, leaving me with about 2 health! I took the hint and left! Never knew cavens could do 40 either, or I would have taken out health insurance

I don't think he changed anything, as I have experienced the same thing, and only since Saturday. I think it's probably a congestion thing, but may just be your ISP. In fact, I'm considering moving to another provider. Current one is British Telecom, by the way....
