  1. Maybe....just maybe its time to make a styky with a overview of all made suggestions? Ofcourse with a status indicating "Rejected" which would be about 99% ?

    I especialy like the dye'ing posibility... Mix that with inter-mixable colors, from individual plants, to create your own color, and it would rock About the reference to UltimaOnline: That game had/has a lot of good things, i dont see why it would be bad to be inspired by good ideas of other games...
  3. Suggestions for the NPC merchants

    I think to make it easier, for both the customers and merchants, to find/advertise whats been sold for how much would be to have a general NPC in each map that will list the item names and locations of the guild merchants. Perhaps even accompanied by their prices to compare before going there. This would be like a Merchandise-Info NPC, that keeps track of things like this automaticaly. Easy for both parties needs, yet might need some heavy coding... Ofcourse a listing on website "would" seem handy also, but how many players actualy go browse a webpage while playing?
  4. Markings on map

    That's why the known world is expanding (currently 2 continents). If you find one spot is too busy, then don't mark it... or if it becomes too busy, then remove the mark and mark it at your new location. Im aware of the 2nd continent, not that i figured out how to get there yet but, and thats a good thing for so ppl have areas to explore more after some level. (unless the monsters there are same level as C1) But your solution to the marks is like saying just dont mark and keep wandering around till you find a resource thats not crowded. I think you realise that thats something well...counter the idea of making marks at all... Because to move easily to a next spot you need to know the location of it beforehand (each time), so you can go "check up" on locations and find a suitabe one at that moment... At certain times one spot might get crowded, while on other times some other spot... This doesnt mean you should delete your marks that you found....

    Ok i just tried the ALT+S, but thats only making me sit/stand not very helpfull with my topic... Sure for others, but i already sit down at those moments and places... Healthbars and names makes the game-feel more alive, i dont think any mmorpg player likes to walk in a world where you dont see names. Healthbars...hmm perhaps that can be tweaked so you only see your own and the current target if its a monster... Anyway this (topic) is a problem i see and notice in a lot of mmorpgs, some have but most have not fixed this issue the way i explained... And on the ones that did, the overall irritation is less for players...

  7. Just after re-checking the things tobe implemented (the sticky in this forum top) and my suprise i had ingame while playing i had to post this: Why not have animations for harvesting? Ofcourse different ones for different kinds... Like mining should look way different as picking flowers.. This will make the gameplay feel a lot more alive to look at.... AND also make afk ppl more obvious... Ofcourse this has a downside to it, that the harvesting spots will be less accesible to players if there is a crowd. But that can be overcome by creating more harvesting spots for the materials where ppl crowdup... *edit* Now that i think of it, it will also force ppl to "use" more spots of a map....

    Sure thats kinda true atm, but i think you must have observed the amount of "camping" at certain locations? Imagine how bad this will get when more and more ppl come play... Then you will NEED more spots to goto....and thats when you need more marks (As you guessed, im not only making suggestions as a default player)

    No this way every suggestion can be discussed seperatly, keeps the conversations on topic About the pro's and con's, ill leave that to the participants... About the fail with all or nothing: Why not have a percentage succeeding from that batch instead? Food level: Yes the max amount should be clipped at food consuption, that way low levels can make things for the higher levels faster. This cliping will also clip the rate of higher level stuff, which in turn creates a higher demand etc... Unless you all feel its ok to give the player same feeling if they make a level 0 or a level 100 item? Economy: You can adjust the economy by increasing the higher level stuff's values... Sure thats an easy cut but balancing economy aint simple And it will make plesant play for lowbees AND create a feel of accomplishment for the higher levels... Sry but i think the economy aint balanced at all atm...but thats my opinion... Anyway, discuss as you all see fit
  11. Not sure if this has been posted before but here it goes... I was talking about it ingame and there poped a suggestion from someone. Wouldn't it be great tobe able to make multiple items at same time by increasing the ingredients? Ofcourse in this way you would only get exp for one, and food deducted for the total. So you make a choice for exp or speed of items...
  12. It would help game play a lot if loot bags were made more easy to access when your standing on them. I dont mean for other players but for the player himself to whom the bag belongs... For example: Im wearing a Warm Fur Cloak and im killing animals, try to click the bag for your loot... Its a nightmare...takes me about same time to kill the monster as to click the bag I suggest in this mode, when player is standing onto of a bag, that you can click anywhere ontop of your avatar to open the bag. This would be the most userfriendly way...perhaps not as easy to implement but thats upto the coder(s)
  13. Seeing how crowded NPC's get (storages especialy), and resources also btw... It think it would be best to have a radius around them where players cant get to, this will insure accesibility for every player. Ofcourse accompanied with a larger area from which you can access these... (NPC's and resources)

    I have to agree on the "no" for the goto cmd...eeekk... But about less marks...i got too much crap? o.O Sorry but plant locations, animal locations, ore locations those are uhmm....not realy crap in my view... And sry to say but i got a "auto defrag" running on my memory banks all the time, so i never remember location of things...especialy in games... Making marks on my map is my way of implementing "map making", while exploring

    About explanation of test server: thx didnt know, i feel comfortabler now... as in the newer features that are coming in the next release, not related to zoom & such? or was there a change in camera freedom I forgot? Nope no freedom like that unfortunatly Just the new features... Best way to beat sarcasm is by not understanding sarcasm (when in my favor ) *edit* forgot some closing tags on quotes...
