  1. Spell range and Camera controls

This is what my game does; you stop the mouse, and the camera KEEPS MOVING. It should STOP when the mouse STOPS. That is my suggestion for camera movement by mouse. That the camera should stop when the mouse stops. If you don't understand what I'm saying, I don't know how else to say it. If your game doesn't drift on the mouse camera movement, good for you, please let me know. Then I'll post this in the bugs or help section instead. Thank you. As for my comment on Vanyel's post, this thread was quickly changing from a suggestion to a help session on mouse buttons. I feel that I am entitled to point out when posts stray from the topic since my idea was being pushed aside and I was being treated like an idiot.
  2. Spell range and Camera controls

Learner, I'm not sure why you felt it necessary to post information on this thread which can be found on the Eternal Lands Official Website under Help, link Commands. Vanyel, I believe that is more at home in the bugs section. Playing off of jhunLEMON's idea, it would be nice to say crtl+click on the compass and have the camera look in the direction that you clicked.
  3. Okay, two things. Spell range: It seems that the range on spells such as remote heal and harm are so short as to make them nearly useless. They ought to be exteneded two or three squares around the player. Especially the offensive spells. With lag delay, it's difficult to even hit monsters until they finally stop wandering around. Also, it would be nice if the spell did not have to be recast whenever you click on something that is out of range. Camera Controls: We have the arrow buttons, and can hold shift to fine tune the angle. It would be handy to have another combination that would halt all camera movement, so you could stop the view right where you want it to be. Something like ctrl+up. Also it would be nice to be able to control the pitch of the camera when part of a message has been typed out. While the feature of scrolling through previously typed messages is handy, perhaps it would be best to do this using Shift+up or some similar combination. Finally, the camera control using the mouse is rather clumsy. It should not drift when the mouse is stopped, but cease movement altogether.
  4. Lord of the flies day

Very bad. Hmm, lets see. I log out with my fr or harvesting cloak on on a regular basis. If I need to leave fast, I may even carry 10-20k gc on me. Not to mention armor, SR's, essences etc. Now, I'm not >120 att+def, but suppose I am. I log in, and while I'm in consol mode reading that nasty purple font, someone %!#jacks me and I lose a whole crap-ton of stuff. Replace 'I' by 'you', then say this day is a good idea.
  5. Trade bot owners : Lets work together to rescue the market.

So you expect the average person would prefer to deal with another person instead of a bot who sells cheaper. Wait for them at storage while they dawdle around killing foxes, hope they speak the same language, and speak it properly, and deal with the inevitable person who feels it is necessary to arrange a deal and barter afterwards. How many people do you know like this? (Edit) My apologies, I misread what the_antiroot typed. Thanks ttlanhil for pointing this out to me.
  6. Trade bot owners : Lets work together to rescue the market.

Whoever said that prices falling was a bad thing. You could consider it rather as the gold coin becoming more valuable. If the $16 in my pocket was worth more every month, I would be ecstatic! The reason prices are dropping is because the demand for items is relatively low compared to the supply. If you want stuff to cost more, go out, fight stuff, use up the items like no tomorrow, then buy more. If you think prices are "unfeasibly low", why are you even bothering to produce and sell them? As for removing trade bots altogether. Well let's suppose one doesn't have access to the market 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Let's suppose this person still wants to sell as many goods as before, since that's how much they can manufacture. What should they do? Hmmm..... Also, If trade bots were removed from the game, it would only be fair for those who paid to get their money back.
  7. Trouble Trading

Occasionally when I'm trading with someone, and their items are coming from their storage, the trade will fail saying that I cannot carry all of the items. This is despite the fact that I can see the 'S' in the corner of the items signifying that they are to go to my storage. Whenever this happens, I can get an identical trade to work by clicking the items being traded to me twice each, queuing them for my inventory, then for my storage again. (Edit) Another scenario happened to me just now. Part of the trade was from the person's inventory. I right-clicked it to send it to storage, but the trade failed saying I couldn't carry everything. Retried the same trade, only I right clicked the items 3 times each, so that they ended up queued for storage twice. Then it worked.
  8. Customizable Keys

So here I am, trying to mine and I want to switch my cursor, but something thinks the alt button is down, and now I'm walking across the caves with my bag beckoning for someone to jump it. Anyway, it would be very nice to have customizable key definitions without having to go in the game files or some other nonsense.
  9. This is a market?

I'm not a proponant of npc's arbitrarily buying or selling anything you want them to. Market caps are okay for short term solutions, but really wreak havoc in the long term. It's probably best to figure some system where npc prices fluctuate, possibly based on the amount of the item in question circulating in the game, the amunt of gc in circulation, etc. Whatever is done about the market, it should be called 'The New Deal'. Worked for FDR, right?
