  1. Macintosh OS X client 1.6.0 bugs thread

HI, Has a newer 1.6.0 been built yet? Regards Nigel Sollars
  2. Macintosh OS X client 1.6.0 bugs thread

Actually elglext isnt there because it is generated by a perl script. You can use the terminal and create it with "perl glext.pl > elglext.h". Cool thanks for the info.. il catch my guildie back online and pass that one on ... hopefully my issue can be fixed. Regards Nigel Sollars
  3. Macintosh OS X client 1.6.0 bugs thread

Seems that most of the mac testing has been on PPC, I forgot to add that min is Intel ( Core 2 Duo 233Ghz ). Was wondering if someone could build a new bin from CVS for this one, I had a guildie attempt but it fails with elglext.h missing. I did check CVS ( via web viewer ) and can confirm its not there ... not sure if this is just a typo ment to be glext.h. Regards Nigel Sollars
  4. Macintosh OS X client 1.6.0 bugs thread

Odd instance with 1.6.0 that happends on this mac, basically I can harv, pickup bags etc. What i cant do is select any creatures to fight and i cant talk / interact with any NPC's including store. Turning off 'New Selection' fixes the issue but at the loss of 20fps and jurk orama .. the game kinda steps every so many frames ( unplayable even ajusting mouse limit does'nt really fix it). I deleted the old el.ini file which fixed the issue on that first restart but after retarting the client after resetting up my graphics settings i was back to not being able to react / select NPC's or select a creature to fight. This is an Imac running OS X Tiger Graphics: Nvidia 9600 GT 2GB Ram Im not sure if a recent build from CVS has already solved this one or no, i dont have the build tools installed atm to test. Regards Nigel Sollars
  5. Ok so basically every normal pot price has risen and we wont get vials from anything above minor healing. So my 2 area's of interest are: 1. Will the cooldowns be adjusted to be more proportionate since the cost is gunna burn and make things more awkward. 2. Will the food level for the player be increased ( either from an attribute or total OA ).. to become more realistic. Hopefully not banned for touching on what i do see as valid areas of the game... 10. Some textures not visible on Linux

Bit of a late response to this one, but i have the same issues same old I810 with Xfree Dri/Drm Mesa Combo. Ive had similar things happen in some older games, I did how ever put it down to the Mesa GL implimentation as at the time 5.0.2 was the version. -- To ask the question is the quote pointing to an issue in MesaGL or in EL? Regards..
  11. I think it has something to do with the driver/card having crappy OpenGL implementations. You could attempt upgrading your drivers to see if that works, but I wouldn't bet my house on it. Would'nt be a good idea .. as latest dri / drm is being used ... Ive just taken a look at the Mesa3d page seems there have been alot of bug fixes for mesa 6.4. will have to wait for this to be merged into Xfree dri .. ( Will post if i see fixes ) .. Regards
  12. Yeah thats very close to what im seeing ... and yes this is onboard being a laptop. So any idea why its doing it? games like Quake 3 etc etc run great and ive had good experiences with other OSS stuff eg Neverball. Regards

Here are the details for my system Slackware 10.2 kernel 2.4.32 OpenGL vendor string: Tungsten Graphics, Inc OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI IntelĀ® 845G 20041217 x86/MMX/SSE2 OpenGL version string: 1.3 Mesa 6.2.1 Hope this helps ..
