there is a difference between just viewing the status page on one hand and creating a detailed record of activities of all players on the other, i believe that wasn't what you had in mind then creating this. i'm just pointing out that i see a possible privacy issue here. everyone can do this (and even more) but that doesn't mean that you have no reason to think about what you're doing. this is nothing about code & license stuff its about collecting data

well i can fully understand the people who don't want this for privacy reasons. it's some kind of 3rd party that montiors your online activities without asking, so giving ppl at least a chance to disable it is absolutely a must. even if you think no one cares there are a few who do.

maybe setting different colors for days/hours/minutes will help ;p

Well, i see you don't get it. the problem is that almost every 2nd website has some google code inside so its of course possible to track down a single user and his almost complete surfing activity. these informations are pretty valuable for marketing uses. and i wonder if noone had the idea to spread some malware by redirecting those domains..

well, i wasn't joking every time you open a page that contains google adds or google analytics stuff a request is sent to google and part of this request is the referrer which contains information about the site you're viewing. even worse is that the requested data is mostly javascript code which is executed in the context of the user. together with the current dns server attacks, this leads to a lot of not so funny possibilities.

well done you just posted a senseless fullquote. and no its not easy when the user is forced to turn of features which cant be found in the regular options menu. if you have only about three websites you visit its no big deal, but go and have a few hundred bookmarks, you will be start smashing your head on the keyboard because its impossible to use this completion crap.

firefox isnt much better than ie, its big fat bloatware and the version 3 is biggest shit i've seen in a long time. specially this new urlbar & scoring feature is a pain in the ass which you have to disable in about:config manually before you can use the browser a all. Its time or a new browser, i tend to change to opera or even epiphany which is also based on the gecko engine but much lighter. i would be fine with elinks too. the firefox/mozilla was a very nice browser a few years ago - in beta stage with 0.* versions :> now let the browserflamewar begin xD
