saxum Report post Posted January 22, 2014 I have been noticing that Vulcano, a bot listed with no owner in TG, has perpetually had no EMU. no slots and has large list of items buying but since it has only ONE item for sale it never buys. It appears someone bought a trade bot and is just using to either drive up prices or just store items. Since it often has prices higher than anyone else for buying items it is in effect a straw man to raise prices on list of items purchased.
Devnul Report post Posted January 22, 2014 Might be true, but is it illegal? I doubt that.
Susje Report post Posted January 23, 2014 While the owner is paying the fee to radu, I think it's not illegal. It's unethical, but legal. It would be interesting knowing who is the owner . (I'm not)
Zilding Report post Posted January 24, 2014 I am not entirely comfortable with the idea of bots with no public ownership information.
Susje Report post Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) I have a scientific discovery in "vulcanology": - The bot has 200K-300K gc, so the owner is a cheap ass or he/she is a rich player who risks only a small amount to rise the prices in the market.
