Item list

Recommended Posts

Guest Guest_andy_*

Hi,

I use version CVS 1.9.0 and it seems that the item list of me does not work right. Some of my guildies have the same problem (they use linux too, and different distributions).

I could create a item list, and I could rightclick on the list. But leftclick has no option. As far as I know should you be able to leftclick on an item at the list, to put it in your inventory from the list.

Perhaps someone could help us, thx.

Andy

To make item list work, you need to update your version from cvs repository: http://developer.berlios.de/cvs/?group_id=1256

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.elc.berlios.de:/cvsroot/elc login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.elc.berlios.de:/cvsroot/elc co elc

then compile it and run :icon13:

cd elc
make -f Makefile.linux
./el.x86.linux.bin

Hi,

thank you very much for your answer.

I did as you said. Every step worked (after I have installed the missing devel packages and cvs :) )

The compile worked after that.

But as before, the item list does not work, as she should work :icon13:

Hmmm maybe I did something wrong.

Does it work for any linux user?

Thx.

Yes it works.

Are you sure you launch it with ./el.x86.linux.bin command? Because now you have two versions of el, old and new one.

Thanks a lot. It works now. You were right, I launched the wrong el

For everyone who is a linux n00b like I am:

open monitor, type:

cnf cvs

(if you haven't it installed, follow the proposals you get)

then:

cnf make

(same as with cvs)

then follow the codes kric posted.

If you have errors at compiling the file, it could be, that you haven't the C-libraries installed (like it was in my case).

then launch the game with the command kric posted before.

Now the item list should work.

Thanks again kric for your help!!! :)
