Caliphear Report post Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) My IP was banned the day after i started playing and I had my character whitelisted so I could play. Now the ban is lifted im guessing and another member of my family would like to play. Can i let them make their own character or is this going to be considered an alt. Aislinn Report post Posted October 8, 2009 No, your isp was not banned. You have a dynamic IP which means your isp assigns you a different IP every time you log on. You were hitting a banned range for a short while, so I whitelisted you. However since that time, you have not connected from that range. You can have another family member make a new character, there should be no problem. However I do caution you, if you log onto that character yourself, it IS considered your alt, and you won't be able to trade with it or anything like that.
