Just download the game, fire it up, and create your charachter.

After you are done with that, click on the el.exe client that is in your new EL folder.

Read the rules, click accept, then click on "new character".

Choose your traits and name, click done, and you are in the game

What exactly happens? Do you get a message? If so, what is it and what does the screen look like when you get it?

 

Is this before you can even try to create a character or after you pick all your stuff?
