Then this update description has a very poor wording: Server update 27 September 2009 Harm and other offensive spells definitely fall under magic resistance. (And probably special effects too, I guess. But it's hard to define as bronze armor has both, warlock only has resistance so it'd would need some testing) I wasn't sure about magic protection though but it could be against magic damage as Alberich pointed out.

Wizzy, afaik warlock only gives magic resistance(according to description anyway), and I think that only protects you against spells whereas magic protection protects you from special effects. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I think it is.(Bronze armor has both and warlock definitely reduces your MD/harm/poison dmg). EDIT: I think it should definitely have both to have any use at all.

As you said AoF triggers when hit, so does SoP. SoM has both effects, MD when receiving a hit and MB when you hit. Generally most other weapons like OSOMN, scythe, JSoC, BRoD, BoD etc. are triggered when you inflict damage and most special armors like specialt tit and steel pieces, MoL when you receive hit

It might also take "a bit" more time to train high enough to farm pro instance compared to noob or advanced one. (Or more $$$ if you want to think it that way). I'm not sure if the tokens are getting cheaper either, they were <10k a few months ago and they cost about 15k now. EDIT: Btw I'm nowhere near levels to farm pro instance, I've only fought there 3-4 times.

I don't think it's very useful really, getting 2-4 "level up" effects a day wouldn't affect my playing in any way compared to 1-2 effects a week now. Getting level is nice as it does help but "halfway to next level" or every 1M doesn't do any good. I'm not that much interested in eye candies but maybe I'm the only one who thinks so .

As far as I know, no. There is only the "iron chainmail torso armor" that everyone calls as "iron chain(mail)". I don't see much of a problem there.

FCWs DO drop serp stones, I got one a few days ago, so do MCW, agreed both are pretty rare. And DCW do drop nicely enriched essences, I got EMEs abotu every 1k and ELEs a bit more often, I agree they could drop serp stones too, though.

How does it work? You store it in your inventory (stackable) and when get shoot it disappears (absorbing random damage 0-100%)? Or do you have to use it somehow? Just like you guessed, just have it in inventory and they do stack. Disappears when you're hit by an arrow.

I wonder why random is always so hard to define or understand. If radu says the chance is 1 in 10k(which i know it used to be a long time ago), it means the chance is absolutely 1/10k every time you or me or anyone else makes an FE no matter if you just made 2 EFEs in a row(I've done that too) or noone has made an EFE that day. I think you got that right but the I think the explanation was quite complex

Chainmail solution seems most reasonable atm, ward giving AOE bonus to every friendly guild sounds OP and even less realistic than chainmails giving extra AP protection. Ward doesnt add strategy either, just another gc sink. Chainmail with a bit less than half the armor of dragon mail should make it reasonable option against rangers but not OP allaround armor. -Felkku, tank who only PKs with OP choris who's just a skilless charbuyer and myself i have no idea of PKing whatsoever EDIT: I also think rang level should have more effect in dmg/AP than pots but that might be hard to do now that everyone has spent 900k on pots(myself included)

In the video you can also see that Choris is using shortbow+PK arrows which is the fastest combo and still Cronus dies 2 steps outside(although that video is made before ND zone was added).

Great invasion again . As to nightraver, there were a lot of fluffs at the green area especially near the end of the invasion, I think there were enough monsters most of the time.
