I am trying to make a special potion. I need 10000 Gypsum of which I have 1036, 1200 Amber and I have 243, 50 Refined Vegetal Mixture of which I already have 7, and finally, 7 Grapes of which I already have 7.

Well I think enough people have been so disappointed by the last few "more special days, less bad days" global reward that no one is working on the current global quest items.

I don't understand why not. Wouldn't a break statement or even a simple if statement work? Been awhile since i've done programming code, but from what I do remember this should be possible

I have a few suggestions for the Tutorial quest. I've known many players who don't bother to even complete the Tutorial quest (I don't understand why not - the experience reward is outstanding). But I do think the Tutorial quest could be improved. New players start out with extremely low health, they don't know about minor healing pots, and they don't have any healing ability. New players are sent to harvest sulfur almost immediately where they can subsequently die to one hit from good ole MN (the healing sigils and Biology book is much later in Tutorial). New players don't know that they should save up right away to purchase augmented armor to reduce radiation damage, or that Mira in WS sells minor healing and mana pots. I suggest that text about finding Mira be added to the Tutorial chat along with a small potion experience reward for purchasing potions from Mira. The little potion quest offered on IP (trying not to reveal too much info here) cannot even be started/completed until many other quests are done, including one for crafting. I suggest that a new item, a hard helm, be added as a reward. Hard helm would have 3 emu (like leather helm), +2 radiation protection, and be "bound" to the character. By "bound", I mean the item could not be sold nor transferred to another character. If hard helm isn't a viable suggestion, then please give the new player a pair of augmented leather pants after completing the 100 sulfur. Make the new player "eye" the pants to see the difference in armor effects. If the new player decides to harvest sulfur to meet the earn the 1kgc, they will have a better understanding of how to protect themselves.

Since ranging can be very expensive, especially for new players or those who are just starting to range, I think a William Tell Hood would be a great addition to the game. The only hood currently in the game is the Universal Hood while there are many capes in game. The William Tell Hood could be a new tailor-made item, and a Book of Hoods already exists. It could even look like an apple on the head just kidding! Benefits: * 5% more ranging experience * Your ranged weapons are slightly more accurate * 5% more damage To keep the William Tell Hood limited to new rangers, it can't be worn if more than 30 AP potions have been consumed or if the Wilhem Hood Perk has been taken.

In the Mixing Mayhem quest, when you return to Erokin: Immediately

The up and down arrow keys will change the camera angle for you. Also under Options, Camera try toggling the Isometric View on and off. I keep isometric view on as it helps a lot. Also under Options, Troubleshoot try toggling the Mouse Bug as that may also help you.

For the next 239 hours we wait less for daily quests.

da_tank (cooldudes12 is his main) was bagjumping everyone in today's 40-60 invance. He admitted he was doing it, bragged about it the whole invance and said he'd made an easy 20k off of the team members. He probably made more than that because I lost my gatherer medallion to him, along with fast regeneration cape, he's, br's, etc. Sad thing, I was fool enough to lend him augmented leather pants when he arrived at invance naked Due to this incident and the other similar incidents, I won't bother trying to invance again. Not worth the aggravation, it certainly isn't team work when you get back stabbed by a team member. This happens way too often even in the 40-60 where there isn't much to be lost. I certainly cast my distrust vote on /trustbot and hope other players will do the same.

Well my first invance was enjoyable, so I tried a second one. Unfortunately that one was absolutely horrible, so I won't be doing any more. Anyway thanks for all the tips, maybe someone else will find this info helpful.

I searched through bug reports and didn't find anything so either this is something very old or fairly recent. Inventory icons for COL and MOL are correct; however when worn the images are switched. For example, COL in inventory is multicolored gold, but when put on is multicolored blue. I don't own a MOL but it maybe doing the same thing.

As a newish player, who is an all rounder, I dislike Schmurk's suggestion that the rosto be tied to human nexus. I have not done one invance or instance yet, my a/d is less than 60 but my human nexus is 10 (for artificier cape!). I am working hard to gear up and get my magic level at a comfortable level, then I will try an invance. However, I do like the idea of rostos being level related! I'm still saving for gear purchases and purchasing books (some are quite expensive!). The cost of a rosto right now is not an additional expense that I'm willing to do. If I wait to purchase rosto for invance, I'll probably end up in 80-100 range instead of starting with 40-60

Thanks so much for your detailed list and explanation. There is one thing I don't understand - why the tiger stones? Am I carrying these to give to another player? I certainly don't have a high enough skill level to use them. Is having a summon level of 45 to use these stones a requirement for invance?

Yes I am looking for a clarifying answer on what is "good gear" for 40-60. That statement is too ambiguous for me to even try to make an educated guess If it were a KF-like no drop invance, I probably would have tried it already. I'm still trying to gear up and save for a few rostos. I'm also working on upping attributes because, as an allrounder, I've got a lot of nexus. While I'm working on those, I'd like to know what else I need to purchase and probably save up to obtain.

I would love to see the suggested gears for 40-60 invance since auggies and iron sword are a no-no. I am considering participating, but have no clue what is required as far as gears go.
