Thanks for the explanation, Burn. I just checked with Redeemer again and indeed for Xaquelina I have 201/50, guess I needed to log out and back in for the correct amount to be recorded. And as an FYI, I was interpreting the 251/50 as '251 out of 50' completed not '251 divided by 50 = 50'. It seems it would be clearer if it read 251/250, but that's just me. Thanks again, EvanMarie

This topic got me thinking of what it was that helped get me hooked and keep me engaged in EL; seems now I mostly afk harv and chat. And, yes, I know this reply is a bit off-topic. When I was very n00bish, I remember Annatira having 'find me' contests for people with no level over 30 or so. Those were very fun andl a pair of augs was an awesome prize. I'm still kinda proud of the blue cavalier hat I won. I also really liked capped invasions when I finally got brave enough to go. I know they are a lot of work and people like to cheat, but now it doesn't take long before the invasion mobs are out of my league, but then I'm a wimpy fighter. I didn't do any of the contests for penquin day because it was at a time I couldn't. I would've been happy with any of the prizes. Personally, I'd be very happy with, say, 5K sapphires or leather or red quartz (hint, hint); I'll do the mixing myself. I think many mixers would be happy with raw ings because we need them for the skills we want to 'power level'. I'd leave harving sapps in PL to find somebody who was going to simply give me 5K of them. I think because contests seem so far and few between and lots people can't do it on that specific day at that specific time, they just don't participate. So maybe several little contests rather than a few big ones would get us into the habit of doing contests when they spontaneously arise. How many people remember frantically PMing a mod 'twinkle, twinkle little star' or some such nonsense in the hopes of being the 53rd person to do so just to win a.......I don't know what - never won a prize doing that. Oh, and the contest a while back where you had to trade bots to get letters to find a hint to an EL location in Ida while an invasion was underway was amazing fun, fun, fun. I don't even recall what the prize was, some guildies and I just did it for the challenge.

I like these suggestions as well. I've sometimes donated stuff, but more often it seems that what I can do has already been done. And yes, I know I can always buy an orange or some grapes, but in EL as in RL, I prefer exchanging goods and services to exchanging gc or $$. I am not complaining at all, just feeling like I can't contribute much even though I benefit from the quest and I don't think I'm the only one.

A Bit Off Topic: I've help several people enter instances and in my experience they just need you so there are enough people to enter and to carry stuff in.If they want you to bring your stuff it's probably because they want to take your stuff.

I said 'every day' cuz i do them about 95% of the days i'm on. and call me crazy, but i kinda like that Xaquelina sends me to maps i'd never go to otherwise.

The first time I used one was after procrastinating 2 weeks not wanting to do hawks. The second was on a Sun Tzu, when yet again I was procrastinating doing hawks. Got PV ogres but figured the spawns would be taken already, so used another pass and did that mission. As far as getting something that I think is too tough: I'm not a fighter and liked the challenge of getting out of my comfort zone. Tigers kicked my butt, so I bought a cutlass and tried to kicked theirs; desert chims took about an hour and had to resupply HE and SRS. But in the end it felt good I had completed my missions.

I think I've seen this suggestion in forums before, but couldn't find it and this heading is broad enough for it to be included here, I think.... If "You cannot access the storage from here!", how about make it so you can't talk to the storage NPC from that spot either. If you can't reach storage how is it possible to "reach" the NPC? Thanks.

I'm making my suggestion in this thread because, it is one of the few that addresses enriched earth essences. Currently, the only use for earth essences is to make matter conglomerates and lately I've been making lots of matter conglomerates. I propose that there be an Enriched Earth Essence that would have one of the following qualities: 1. an EEaE be equivalent to 1 matter conglomerate. Gloms also have matter essences, so this may not be workable. 2. an EEaE be equivalent to the number of EaE needed for a glom = 80 EaE I have no idea the rate at which these would be made or what they would look like since the energy essence already looks a little like a "special" earth essence.
