NMT and Skeptic are the best Perks a Man could ever hope to get, any other Perk is just a BoNuS to an already awesome game. "Capes are crap, and only an item of show,and judging by the Cape you are wearing ... shows everyone (ImO) your weakness". Perks are forever. Yeah, due to spending Pick Points on Perks I have small Health numbers...so what. In another couple of years, I'll still have my Perks. Can you say that about your Precious Cape(s) ? Nope. Also, as I continue to grow in Eternal Lands,(with the Perks in place) my Health numbers will get bigger and bigger as I continue to place Pick Points where they are needed...and I will become stronger,quicker and more stealthy in both Attack and Defence. I recently pulled a reset to take Tokie in another direction. I am offering to use my own tools and time to Alch. and Pot. for others for free...as a way to regain levels / oa's. I will try to keep this as short n simple as I can. Players come to EL and make a Character. They are taught by other players how to get started. Then they go out and see these 300+ Health players walk bye, and get bummed after realizing that what they saw is a Character that was bought and sold,bought and sold,and bought again, and that they will NEVER be able to be like that...then they quit. If Radu wants to get more People to stay and play, He has to even things out. I do not know the #'s of those who stay vs those who quit. But I'll bet Tokie that there are more who quit, than stay. So, here is an "idea", on how to keep more Players comin' back : C-1 and C-2 have everything alike,all the same ores n flowers n st00f, iirc. so why not make C-1 for self made Characters and C-2 for purchased Characters. Or, even if Radu justs hooks it up so Made Characters can use the Arenas on C-1,(including K-F) and C-2 Arenas for Purchased Characters...and give them another K-F type map as well. The idea of the DP Arenas was / is a good idea,yet there are still Arenas that get no use. Continue with this concept with the rest of the available Arenas... Do this for both C-1 and C-2 making "Capped A/D Arenas" for both Made and Purchased Characters, but keep them a Continent apart. With Capped Arenas, there is room for all to play. And by seperating the 2 different classes of Players, Radu can help keep 'em coming back, thereby reducing the number of those who make Characters, then return to "other games" just beacuse they "have a fighting chance" to get somewhere and be someone who matters. Due to privacy reasons I cant say names: but... everyone who joins Poundin'You (#nU) Guild registers via e-mail. Those who quit after some time, I contact, and 9 times outta' 10, the reason they give for not returning is that they claim that E-L is too lop-sided and that they dont have a Prayers chance in Hell of ever "catching up...or even coming close" to those in the Arenas or out in K-F. This "idea" is sure to cause some flap...but, I'd bet Tokie that 1/2 of those who dissagree with this "idea" are also using a Bought Character, and want to keep on preying on those smaller than themselves. I would like to see Fanged Poisonous Frogs. Very elusive,( a Frog on Perma.Hax maybe ? ) but with a small A/D and only on I.P.,preferably by the Well next to the Beam. Use: Poisonous Frog Skin, to be "mixed" with PK Arrows/Bolts to make a Very Deadly Weapon which will not only hit and do instant damage, but also continue with poisoning whoever it hits with the same damage as a full-blown poisoning ! Skins should sell/cost the same as PK Arrow or Bolt. Tokie

If I can click one link to add an Encyclopedia update, then why the He!! cant I find the same thing to add a Custom Clothing Pack to my Character ? I've went round n round with this Sir_Odie deal and it's piszin' me off to no-end. I'm no Computer Expert... but let me tell you something, if this is this hard for me to do on my Computer then how the He!! am I gonna' explain it to a new player ? I am Skeptic. Yes. I believe you to be correct. Yet I am still wondering why I went from 3 training arrow hits to kill a Wolf, to only needing 2 training arrow hits... Same Wolf between Nord wall n Tavern Door, same distance,...same everything except 2 more in Phys... Do you think that..well no, that isnt it either. Okay... What or how will this help attract or help retain Players ? It wont. In fact it helps drive a wedge deeper between the Ol' Schooler's and Best-Buyers, and newer players who see the gap widening right before their very-eyes, as they train their fingers to numbness in vain attempts to even keep-up. You want to do something we can all get some advantage from ? A/D cap more ArenaS and KF as well. Make: Villeran Fields somewhere on C-2 for those between or above a set A/D level, and give us new players a chance to at least "See the dangling Carrot" down here in K-F will ya' please ?? There will be no Economy if the new players,(like me) who turn out mass-amounts of HE/SR/ME/AE et.cetra just say ph00kit, because the gap continues to widen as we speak, and dis-illusion us even more than we get when we walk into K-F and die within the first 3 hits of Combat, 'cause ******** is havin a bad day and dont care who He kills 'cause all He cares about is a kill-count, or lil miss **_** decides to get a Best-Buy and seek revenge on "So n so" over something that happened to Her, and now is just out killing for fun just 'cause She can...indiscriminatly killing everyone in Her path...just 'cause She can. ...it's really causing many to just plain not return to the game at all, and only helps those already on top, from a new players point of prespective that is. I have had the same name on my Character since the 1st day I played Eternal Lands. As far as I know, (after almost 2 years of E-L) PaulB has always had the same name. I can only think of two (2) reasons to change a name: The 1st choice was st00pid...and 2nd would be because I would have something to hide. Now let me say this. In all my days here in E-L, I have never heard of PaulB doing anything wrong...until I read this crap. And as far as I am concerned, ( from what I have just read ) the allegations reared against PaulB are total $hit. No where, in any responce have I seen any PROOF that PaulB tried, ( or succeeded ) in Scamming or Ripping off someone in His Guild, ( or anyone else for that matter ) and if He has, I sure would like to read those Screenies. So, this Guy claims He is a Cop ? Send me the Link of Him in uniform, with Gun, in His Squad Car, in the presence of the rest of His fellow Officers...then I will believe it. I read the EL Forums almost everyday...usually. Why ? Well, I'll tell you. It's totally amazing how so many People get on EL Forums and Snitch on eachother...and then on themselves. Example: I gave "so n so" X amount of gc to buy me this or that and He didnt do it...He/She ripped me off ! Waaaa! Waaaa! Ok, I'll break it down for you, real simple-like. Youre an Under-Cover Scumbag...and you are dealing with known Scumbag(s), and you get ripped-off by said Scumbag. Then, to prove what an Idiot you are, you go on EL Forums and tell the whole World that you deal with Scumbags. If you know they are just as underhanded as you are, why put yourself out there as another Scumbag, by telling everyone what an idiot you are, by dealing with known Scumbags in the first place,then posting it on EL Forums? Everyone I have ever read about in EL Forums, concerning underhanded dealings of any kind, are on my Dummy List which I keep in a seperate file. Before venturing into any dealings with any Character in EL, I check my notes to make sure that this is not a previously "known Scumbag"...so I dont end up getting ripped-off, and have to be known as another Scumbag on a Dummy-List. So weather on Notepad, or a File, make a list, and check your Scumbag-Dummy list before making any dealings with anybody in a MMORPG. In the meantime, keep posting all this juicy info. and keep me laughing at your stupidity every morning as I enjoy my Coffee or juice while compiling even more names in my Dummy List, and Banning you from my Trade Bot as well. Meike Trade Bot has and always will PM a greeting. The amount of "spam" I see across my screen on a daily basis is already too much for me...hell, 1/2 the time I even turn off the Guild channel just so I dont have to hear the ramblings of those who feel chatty all of a sudden...and I tell the Guild: "...so if you need me, PM me." I would like all to seriously consider having all Bots greet in PM only. Thank you. Tokie

I'm a n44b,but I know what it takes to get somewhere in this game too. Since being un-banned, I have placed an advertisment on my Bot,(Meike on channel #4) and was swamped within days... I had to remove the Ad and stop recruitment. 10 new players. 3 that I suspect are "someones Alt", and 2 are part-timers who I am not sure if they will return to the game or not. The other 5 are hooked. Not bad odds. With respect,time and patience, I advise them first and formost, to look at their own lives, see what makes them happy irl and then have them apply that towards what they want to do in Eternal Lands. It has worked every time,and I will tell you why. It's because I take the time to ask what THEY want to do first. *Then, I explain what it will take to do it.* Harvest with your neubie, and PM with them, and they will ask the questions...oh-yeah...but without honest answers being fully explained, the Pr0's and the Conz of Pick-Point placement, the constant reminders that: "it's all in the Encyclopedia", and the ever needed"atta-boy/gurl" ...you will find that it's really easy to set the hook, but it's not so easy to get 'em in the net. Wanna' get 'em in the net ? Heres how: ^ read above again^ Yep, it's gotta' be done over and over,again and again...but heres the best part ; Of the 5 who really stand out, of those 5 who are true full-time players who have stayed in Poundin'You(#nU)Guild, they-too constantly give honest advice,help and support, not only to and with each other, but to all new players that they happen upon. The Apples have not fallen far from my tree,and I am now enjoying the fruits of my labor. Good players,help bring in more good players,and the cycle continues. It's a Perfect Circle. As time goes on, I will again have Meike recruit on channel #4 . 11:45 am EST I quit placing item (Tree Mushroom) in inv. as I Harvested. But, I was still Harvesting,or so it seemed. I got up and walked away to see what was up,and noticed the Harvesting Effect still Swirling around my Hand and Arm. I could not collect anymore Harvesting/Tree Mushrooms,so I went back to Training HobGoblins. Tokie

Long time players who have already "Farmed" thier Millions of gc and can flip it for Euro/USD wont have a problem with this idea. Those of us who are currently laid-off of work, and dont know when ( or if ) they will be called back...we are the ones who will feel slighted by this. Food on the table,or money on a game...not too hard of a decision for me. Every dollar counts in times like these. Keep spreading the gap between "the have's and the have not's" and watch what happens to the game. Tokie.

An open letter to all GM's in Eternal Lands ; As most of you already know,I am back from my 30 day Ban. Many of you took it upon yourselves to throw a Red tag on Poundin' You (#nU) Guild while I was away...which was a very un-wise move. Most people in EL know I am a fair Man,and I do not rush into a decision without thinking hard about it first. But. As I now see the wrecklessness in which many of you threw Red at us in my absence, I am now letting all of you know about the "New Policy" in my Guild. It's called " The Revolving Door Policy " and it goes into effect in 7 days from today. It works like this : (1) Each and every Guild that has us Red tagged will be Brown tagged in return. For life. No exceptions. (2) Anyone who has a "BeeF" with anyone we have Brown tagged,will be invited to join us,(on a part-time basis) and may go and BoD or BRoD anyone we have Brown tagged,at their leisure. (3) You cannot say that you were not warned. We have 3 colors in #nU Guild: Green = Mutual Allied. Default = Leave us alone,we leave you alone. Brown = Enemy. If I " #donate " to Meike, say "X" amount of (item) and She wants said item(s)...as the owner,does She have the right to take said item(s) or can she "purchace" those item(s) ie. I donate Bones She needs for mixing.( * Note I have NOT donated any Bones to the Bot yet ) How can Taini obtain the Bones She needs for mixing ? Buy them from the Bot Herself for market value so as to NOT break rule #5 via inner trading ? Keep in mind,all sales from Meike Bot are for monthly maint. fees and Guild Proceeds,none of which do I ever see. Everything I " #donate " is for these purposes.
