    Well scripted, good roleplay... Great invasion, for every one something todo. lost a rosto because there was too many lag as mortos came to bethel and there suddenly were soomany clops there was no space left anymore But it was great fun, good announcments so you wouldn't run into the unknown and get owned too easaly.   3. Mage class, Fighter class

    OOOooooh, this is exactly what i made my alt for \o/ this idea is what i love, i made an alt and it was so lucky it found a nice removal stone and with some help from friends its mag 40 + with a/d 39/43. somehow reasoning wasn't what i was looking for it so now he has w/v 26/24 and some coord to block first hits. md/ld while i fight a phantom with it ( there are some nice places with mana tanks ) make it conquer every time. knowing that this is going to be planned i will be very sceptic when i go to the wraith to spent some pp's with him. i think i will reserve them and in the mean time try to earn a lot of gc to pay the bill for mag lv's. finally a mage will be able to fight a "barberian fighting machine" for the missiles and bow&arrows, nice some new armour and some use for some attributes, this brings some idea's up why caps have to be there. I there wasn't going to be a cap, tons of ppl would have to reset to be able to use pp's where they are needed. That would have been very bad for a lot of them. ps. Nice to give us a glimpse of the future, asking our opinion before we are forced to make any decisions.

    Firstly, what MP said, PK strength is relative to the other players, so if they're capped as well then it's fair. And secondly, it won't be harder to train a/d for pk because you can get nice exp without having to worry about recovering a reset (to go from training build to coord build for PK). Ozmondius just wrote down my concerns, and i am not a fighter, I'm a mixer. tbh. i quit reading most part of the 22 pages poll before. I still have my concerns for a 48 cap. i think though a cap will be good but i would rather see it at 60. Reconsidering what others say, and i don't care about "you wont be able to reach cap on every attribute" cause thats the most childies and stupid argument i have seen sofar, but other well thought reasons i tent to say, lets give it a try. Personally i already am building my char with spreaded attributes, and with every pair of pp's i am going to spent at the Wraith i reconsider the benefits and what they should be used for. So just lets hope there will be some adjustment for the monsters (imho anything less stronger then yeti should be fightable by a single fighter) and look forward to new stuff like bows and arrows and such.

    tbh, its strange that summon a black bear gives 90 base xp and an recommended lvl of 45 and animal nexus 3 a stone (and yes i am lvl'ng on them too) gives 200! xp and the recommended lvl is only 30..... and anmal nexus 5 I think there should be a need o at least some magical nexus too and the recommended lvl to use could require some magic lvl or maybe charm related with some failure rate ?? Like when you have higher charm you can summon more than 1 summon from a stone and with low charm you could even fail it.

    Yesterday i ran through all the thoughts lot of ppl have, and i was a little pissed. today i have been reconsidering and still like an idea of a cap at a sertain lvl. However, what i read in a lot of comments, is the simple fact that lot of ppl cant stand in a fight and want that adjusted. Imho, the game has until now left every one free to do what (s)he wanted and the way they wanted to accomplish there goal. with a cap at 48 a lot has to be done by adjusting critters as well, because spawns will be flooded soon. You cant force ppl to go hunt in groups if they don't want that. Lot of ppl ain't in any guild and don't want to be forced into one either just to hunt a MC. There are some monsters that are meant to be hunted in pacts, like dragon and giants. I don't know if thats the case with yeti too, but lets presume they are. Then if you want to hunt a strong monster you have to do that with 3 or maybe even 5 ppl.(thats what happens when ppl go for a dragon at least) and for what ? few gc ?? I think if hunting in pacts is something we want the bonus must be nice, so at least the pointing system will have to face a change as well. With a cap at 60 there still will be a huge difference in fighters and mixers and ppl. will still be able to do what they want the way they like most. Imho you can't force ppl to start summoning because you like it or just because you think not enough ppl are doing it. Its the way some ppl like to play the game and, luckely, every one could play it the way they liked it. Still as said i will vote yes, and not because of the lvl but because it will benefit the game on the long term.

    I can understand that you think 40% is a lot. It is indeed. What i dont understand is you cant see the most of the ppl support the idea but are complaining about the lvl. For pk server you make a pol where you also give the choice between 2 lvl's (50 or 60) and here its just yes or no. I am very sure if you made same poll here you would have reached the 80% yes all the time and where coding already.

    first i am not totally against a cap. this said i will explain few things, this game is so much fun cause you can do what ever you like to do and build a char the way you like, this is, imho, not by forcing every char to became the same build in a year or 2. 48 in 1 attribute is not much, and yes, i know there are 6 of them, so what ? most ppl spend pp in p/c/w, Some think a bit further and take vit instead of phys. and some don't want to be fighter or a harvester mule and take as much w/v as they can afford and just enough coord to stand a fight and harm there opponent (monster of player) with magic and summons. There for i would say make a cap at a lvl that no player will reach with 1/2 of the attributes for a long time. I like the cap at 60 idea, and that added with the kind conovar supposed, make it different for all races. this will give ppl more fun and thoughts when they choose a race without the possibility to be totally wrong or change goals later.

    Been thinking the same and noticed that fighting/fleeing a phantom in hurquin catacombs was a bit differend. And even with a lag from only 35ms it happend that i and the phantom were fighting air We were standing next to eachother instead of in front. I'll try to reproduce and make a screeny it sure looked a bit dumb Even as Roja said she didn't change a thing it looked differend to me too

    ok i voted Work fine w/o sound np with the download. But, after a guildie compiled me a new client with static libs i do have sound now and w/o problems Thanks for that, now i can enjoy the cool sounds too

    I have not voted yet: reason is that i haven't been able to check enough things out. Like places where others crash etc. till now : laptop, 1GB ram, ati mobil 9700, unknown sound card Windows xp, --easy install , had to search a bit for the sound but that has nothing to do with the installation -- works smooth with sound and all maps i visited so far. pc. 2Gb ram, nvidia 5700gti, creative sound card, SuSE Linux 10.1 -- easy install, had to search a bit to get my stats and .dat files at the right place --works smooth for the very few maps i visited, sounds make the client crash. For what it looks now it could be something with alsa but i haven't had the time to check that.

    I totally agree Too bad the sound angine makes my linux client crash so i have to still live in silence But checked it on my laptop and the new client seems to run smoother and the sound Great job every one Thanks

    ever heard of bad luck ?? i went to storage few days ago, knowing i was going to make some efe, and why ? because my astro was good. I started mixing and within 7k fe i made 3 efe !! so i recommend to watch the make rare and start making if you need efe. But as i read from this whole thread, ppl who have bad luck or mix at the wrong time are complaining the most. Stop it and think before you talk is my recommendation just my 2 ct's

    I think you should read it like "when i need items which requires enriched essy's or sertain stones" At least i do. i don't e.g. tit. shields to sell. you know why ? the ings alone cost way over 27kgc and if you want to sell one ppl. get mad on you when you ask that much. 24kgc max is what most wanna pay. So, i keep my sparkly's and stones and use them only for stuff i need. the rest stays in storage and not to sell them one day

    We should make a guild of guy's who ain't boss at home Anyway i try to convince my wife to meet some nice EL ppl during Xmas vacation....... Hope i can, but she doesn't understand a bit of what this EL life is about so it will be very hard
  19. Next Invasion

    That, imho, is what we need indeed. While talking on ch6 few weeks ago the caves were mentioned, I went invisible and checked them out. and found out the hard way that these dragons attack to higher positions than the giants But after sharing that info we could just sit at the wall and start killing monsters, just like previously said they will not move away from you till you are dead or they are killed. i also have been thinking about attacking them from insice the cave, where the minerals are, there is a way in with the ladder and when you go out at the door there is only a small path 2tiles wide i think. But that has to be explored first. Like OMG said, a small place where fighters can't get teamed would be a strategic wonderful place so I think Bethel will need a lot of exploring coming days.

    Saturday would be preferable, so i can sleep in on Sunday and won't be too tired when i get at work on Monday

    Man you are soooo lucky My inet was blocked by my provider cause of some trojan that appeared to be on my daughters machine No inet= no invasion = no fun = wasted weekend I hope it will be repaired soon.... dam am i addicted

    plz. buy me the pp's and i'l test the cape for you ) anyway. looks like you have very little luck imho. or are it just Bad stars ? - I always try to figure out if many ppl are mixing. server gets a lot of fe's to handle and in my strongest believes, there if more is mixed there is a bigger change to make some sparkly's. I nvr. mix when only ~300ppl are logged or during a big invasion

    yeah... most ppl who vote yes don't have one yet... Erm.. and what makes you think so ?? lots of ppl who say they have voted yes have one, I know i do, and second, a lot of ppl who have said NO still say that it could be breakable with some conditions. or explain they just said no because they paid a lot of gc. Just of the record... when you start this game you have nothing, and in ~1year you can have tons of items worth a shit load of gc so whats this all about. Just make the cape breakable, spread the drops over more monsters, like 1/mil for orc, 1/500k for troll/ogre, 1/250k for armed orc, 1/250k for clops, 1/100k for all the stronger monsters. more ppl will be able to use one, as i understand Entropy intended it to be, price will drop but ppl who find one will only drop it on market if they really need some gc. And the idea of making it a tailoring item is also very good but plz. keep the ingredients at a nice lvl (not too expansive) but the required skill lvl fairly high.

    And you don't think that my proposal would mitigate the problem? to be honest ? No. the only thing to be aspected is that those who gets one as a drop will never put them on market. so the price will be rising constantly and no more will leave game. Just because the group that will keep them as a backup will be smaller than the group that could use one. btw. 450 on howmany active players is it anyway ??? PS. I think it will be same as with the rare items, those who don't have enough are always the ones complaining. And those who has save them for future use.
