Guest prism Report post Posted December 16, 2010 Hi I could use some help getting Eternal lands working on my computer. It seems to have installed fine and I think I have all the dependencies, but I'm getting 0 fps when I begin to play. thanks
korrode Report post Posted December 16, 2010 Firstly, which Linux distribution are you running? Do you have the proprietary nVidia linux driver installed and working?
chr0nik Report post Posted December 16, 2010 When you log into the game, press F1 to enter console mode. Type #glinfo and copy the first three lines of output from that command and paste them here. That will confirm what driver you have installed. Also if you're running Debian, Ubuntu or Arch, you can use this script to acquire and install the proprietary nvidia driver correctly. http://code.google.com/p/sgfxi/

korrode Report post Posted December 17, 2010 In the options, try turning off "use animation program" under the Adv Video tab. If that doesn't help try turning off other options too (shadows, vertex options, etc.)
Guest prism Report post Posted December 17, 2010 Thanks for the help tinkering with the video options worked. I found putting it on poor man and the camera distance closer worked as well as turning off the shaders/shadows/etc. I now get 50 fps. thanks
