Guest Ladybird Report post Posted July 28, 2008 I have made a char and can play the game, but when I try to set to full screen the client locks up and I have to close it. On the starting screen I get lines of text saying things like '***** using it' or 'not using it'. Along with these lines is one in a different colour text which says 'Couldn't find the GL_ATI_texture_compression_3dc_extension not using it.' and one saying 'error opening sound configuration file' Anyone any ideas please? Gampa Report post Posted July 28, 2008 I think that's a know bug for some ATI cards which hasn't been fixed yet. The first thing to do is to check if you have the latest drivers for your graphics card installed. A workaround would be to edit your el.ini file. Look for the line #full_screen = 0 in there. Replace the 0 with 1. When you start the client, it should run in fullscreen. el.ini can be found in the My Documents\el\main folder on windows systems, and in ~/.elc/main on Linux system.
