marack Report post Posted October 3, 2007 Please consider an AUTOSAVE feature in the ELconfig. This feature would be toggled ON/OFF. When ON a secondary "set autosave interval" (in minutes) can be adjusted to set the time between each game save. Thanks.

bkc56 Report post Posted October 3, 2007 As stated, auto-save won't happen. But the addition of the #save command was a fantastic addition, much easier than exiting/re-starting the game (which was the only option before). People simply have to condition themselves to save once-in-a-while. Perhaps every time you start an hourly harvest. Or anytime you restock from storage. Or even anytime you walk away from your computer to use the bathroom or get something to eat/drink. Myself, I'd done a save at the top-of-the-hour before the crash. I lost a few dung (and it's experience). I realize others lost some/all of the Scholar's day experience (ouch!). I really feel for those who lost stuff (I had some big losses before the #save was added), but there is a solution available now for those who want to protect themselves.
