well my signature and avitar have pictures but for some reason when i make it into a jpg file it turns out looking like crap in paint it fine tho (gif is even worse for it)

Some jpeg creation programs have an option to use less compression for a better-looking result. You might look for an Option for that in your program.

 

Conversions to GIF often look bad because a GIF file is limited to 256 different colors in the entire image and the color reduction process often produces bad results. If you hand-created the images, you might be able to touch them up yourself to reduce the number of colors - or look for a program (or an option within the programs you use) that reduces the number of colors in an image and see if you can get better results.
