smokey_the_bear Report post Posted September 14, 2005 Ok, I've downloaded the linux binaries, I've even compiled (and REcompiled) from CVS, try to connect, no luck. I get this error message "Can't connect to server " I have NO idea why this is happening. At first i thought update wasnt done but now its obvious that i just cant get in . smokey_the_bear Report post Posted September 14, 2005 Ok lol FINALLY, i resolved the issue. ttlanhil was correct, the client was trying to connect to 2002. However, in my el.ini port is set to 2000. I simply put a check in multiplayer.c to print hostname and port and it was 2002.
