Mori Ranmaru Report post Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) Imagine this; you equipt a weapon and if you attack something with it, you have a chance (Say one out of every one hundred attacks) of doing a weapon specific attack (WPA). For example, you could be wielding a halberd and then if you get a WPA, you could plant the halberd pole, jump up, swing the halberd and decapitate your opponent. Or if you have a katana, you could hit the enemy multiple times (5-7 attacks) for lesser damage in the time it takes for the opponent to attack you once. Although i'm not sure if this would be possible with the current attack/defense experience system, but I think that this would an interesting experience that would stop training from being as boring as it is currently. To balance out the experience loss, you could boost the experience gain for WPA's only, perhaps get 250 to 300 exp instead of 20-30 for each sucessful WPA. Tell me what you guys think. ttlanhil Report post Posted July 16, 2005 it'd probably be a fair bit of work, but sounds like a good idea. This could take the place of the critical hits we already have (when all of a sudden far more damage is done on one hit)... it's mostly an issue for models and model usage.
