3d Error -> Software Mode! :(

Recommended Posts

My Computer:

AMD 3200+

Geforce 2 MX100-200 WITH latest drivers

(anything else you need to know just post here and i'll edit my post!)

The Error:

Window size adjusted to 990x720

Hmm.. This mode seems to fall back in software

trying to disable the stencil buffer..

hmm... no luck without a stencil buffer either.

Let's try one more thing..

Damn, it seems that you are out of luck, we are in the software mode now, so the game will be veeeery slow. if you do have a 3d accelerated card, try to update your opengl drivers..

Couldn't find one of the GL_ARB_multitexture functions, giving up clouds, shadow and texture detail...

Couldn't find one of the GL_EXT_compiled_vertex_array functions, not using it.

Couldn't find the GL_ARB_point_parameters extension, not using it (particles will kinda suck tho)

Connecting to server...

Extra Information: (from #glinfo command)

GDI Generic

Microsoft Corporation

1,1,0

GL_WIN_swap_hint GL_EXT_bgra GL_EXT_palleted_texture

Solutions tried... and failed:

Updating my drivers: didn't do anything, besides my 3d card works in other games.

Reinstalling Eternal Lands: exactly the same error.

Now i'm getting 3fps, crappy graphics and i can hardly even move or type!

I've tried to be as complete as i can regarding the information, if u to know anything else just ask :P!

Anyone that can help me solve this problem?

Are you sure these drivers are really correct, where did you get them? From www.nvidia.com?

Regards.

All other games work... i've tried nfsu 2, rome total war, ragnarok online... they all use 3d card.

i've reinstalled drivers and directx again.. also the game (again...)

the error is somewhere in the configuration of EL i guess :s

thanks! i think i found the problem now... the only thing is to get to opengl to work again i guess!

in the 'OpenGL extensions viewer' i just downloaded it shows the errors i got (like the ARB thing) under a list of 'unsupported'! is there anyway to fix this?
