i think the ps3 will come out on top, because, in my case, there are more games to choose from, sequels or not. the way i see it, the way you lookat buying a ame system is this:
nintendo: best gameplay, cheapest, lots of well known titles (zelda, metriod, mario, etc)
Microsoft:best graphics, most expensive, HALO, 'nuff said
Playstation: most games, average cost, a lots of well known titles (FF series, R&C, Jak series, etc
so whatever you support depends on your value in different fields. personally, i value number of games most. more games=better chance of finding something good.

Ok first off, the walking blows. Its all choppy and looks awkward.try using a better internet connection, then walking wont look so choppy
Second of all the fighting is annoying as heck! You have to chase the dang thing before you can attack it.
personally, i like having to chase the enemy before, i kill it. it adds a bit more work to fighting, instead of just clicking on the enemy and waiting for your character to kill it.
Also, the items are severely lacking, I know this is beta, but honestly, its not THAT hard to make a few simple weapons.
im not sure myself, but from what ive read, it is "THAT" hard to make a few items. there is alot more to it than just making it, you have to tell the syatem how its used, the ways it looks when it's used, how it communicates with the rest of the system...
And have you seen the wrath?! Its on the edge of the map just sitting there, not in a cave or anything, just kinda out there. Id have put it maybe on top of a mountain or in a cave, but not just out there.. its almost as if it was randomly placed somewhere.
its "just out there" probably so newbies can find it (just guessing).and, again, for it to be in a cave, or on top of a mountain, Ent and Roja would have to program all the stuff i told you about before.
Eating, however accurate, is a pain in the neck. You have to wait for it to do anything.. it wont help at all in a battle, youll have to say "wait, dont attack anymore, I have to heal.. thisll be awhile...".
thats kinda the point, so you have to wait a while to do stuff so you dont level up to quickly. and second, its not supposed to help in battle, its supposed to help you AFTER the battle so you dont get killed as soon as you get out of one battle.
  The options given to make your character are lacking.. theres only about 3 or 4...:shame: there should be alot more.. at least 10.:shame:. to be fair, this game isnt half as good as runescape.. and that (explicitave deleted) gets boring.
again, as i said before, it is very hard to put more items/options/etc into the game.
I tried giving Runescape the light of day, I even got to lvl 91, but Eternal Lands bored me in the first week. Ill continually check in to watch for improvements, which there better be, or this game will continue to bite.
wow, you got lvl 91? i only got to 65 before i quit RS, (got 300k worth of stuff thoughÂ

i agree the prices are where they should be for the most part, but a couple of them could stand to be a bit cheaper (gen. axe construction, saphire mining, and a couple others i cant think of at the moment), and a few of the book sellers should be a bit easier to get to (metal mining/ molding books, for instance).

i agree with daxon on this one. the most likely situation would be that the guy was gonna kill the kid once she had served her purpose, and if they shot, they would have killed the kid AND the criminal, so the officer probably just took the lesser of the two evils.
in short, either way, the child would have died, whether the criminal was cought or not. personally i think they should have brought in a sniper or something for the situation, but that would most likely take too long, and by the time the sniper was there and ready to fire, the guy would probably have run and/or killed.

i like the idea of having anti-bagjump bags. maybe they couldnt be picked up after 4-5 minutes, but after that, they're fair game.
as for having an npc to fight, i dont like the idea. it could probably work if it gave you 0 exp (as starman_omega said.) so ppl dont just get thousands of exp, without any risk.

this has just been bothering me.
why does having clouds on or off affect the light inside caves and houses? i dont believe that there are clouds, or a sun to make shadows of clouds inside of caves and houses.

it's an interesting idea, but what kinds of things would they be? for it to work, all of the "special" rideable animals would have to have the same a/d, at least when you fight them, nomatter what speciese they are. otherwise, the system would still be unfair, favoring a certain race.

i like most of your ideas, but theres a couple of problems with the airship and rideable animals you suggested.
airship: what exactly would the use of an airship be? we already have ships and teleport rings, so and airship would pretty much be useless.
rideable animals: the main problem i see with that is that elves would have an immense advantage over all the other races, because if, as you say, you have to defeat abnd tame the monster/animal, elves would have the weakest enemy to beat. whereas other ppl like humans and orchans, have to beat the strongest enemys in the game. then not many ppl would get anything other than elf, because it only has to beat a deer for a transportation animal.

Since i havent been able to play for about a week or so now i have lernt alot of new things.......1) from 5a.m. till 10p.m. there will not be anything worth watching on the TV
2) my legs actually work
3) nobody will call my phone as long as i am bored...but the moment i find something to do the phone will ring constantly
4) pacing back and forth around the house for several hours is a desent way to get excersize and/or a cramp from hell
5) never tell my work i have free time or they will call me in every chance they get
6) #5 isnt all that bad since atleast i would have something to do..
7) THE WORLD IS A F***ING CRAZY PLACE IF YOU ARENT A SOCIAL PERSON AND SUDDENLY GET THROWN INTO REALITY!!!

although i never really talked to doc much, he still made one of the best first impressions ive ever seen, in rl, and ingame. and thats not just because my standards have gotten astronomically low over the years. but now LegionL that has his account, well, lets just say even athiests pray sometimes...
but even still, giving away accounts just takes the point out of the game. if you can just buy a strong account off of someone else, then there is no reason to lvl up for yourself.
