    I don't know all the details.. but somehow Spazy2 convinced a member of my guild to let him try/hold his titanium axe.. Both players were in my guild at the time. Then spazy2 left the guild, and ignored all communications from us.. until yesterday when I had this conversation with him..

    IMO it's rubbish....

     

    Why dont you get to work on some new stuff, like weapons and armors instead of such a useless ideas...

     

    What about tit plate? or maybe some two-handed swords? or dual wield weapons (and skills also)... think about that....

     

    Agreed.. total rubbish... can you imagine trying to make some plate and cuisses and such on a bad day and forgetting to check first.. or deciding, "Sorry, I can't manu today for ya" because of it??

     

    I would just not play at all on bad days.. what would be the point??

     

     

    I agree, get to work on new features and UI enhancements.. You mentioned elsewhere Entrophy that you have played WOW and like some of their ideas (IE item cool down).. Loss in a game sucks! don't add more please!

    If you are interrested in joining a guild of people whom you can call friends, and trust with any ingame issue, IRON may be the guild for you. We are an extremley well rounded guild with "masters" in just about every discipline. We currently do not PK, however we have nothing aginst it. We are very helpful and enjoy working together.

     

    Requirements:

    • Must have a skill at or above level 25 other than harvest.
    • Must not be a scammer, bag jumper, outlaw, etc.
    • Must be kind and courteous to others.

    Wow, I am quite surprised by all the "Antisocial Whining". I have been over there 3 times.. and found it not worth hanging out very long.

     

    So, if it cost you 2.5k to go there, wait until it's actually released and see if it still cost as much. Seems to me that the "Notice" that told us about it said something about a possable furure fleet being built for transport.

     

    Also, it's not worth 2.5k IMO to go at this point.. If your curiosity needs to see it, then maybe it is worth it.. but please people.. enough whining..

    There is however a MAJOR bug that is seen when crashes happen. Say for example that I buy 255 iron bars, 255 steel bars, and 10 efe from my bot charn. Then a few hours later, i log (and he does not). Then the server crashes...

     

    LUCKY ME, my bot has all the items in stock again and so do I. I have therefore just doubled my items and my profits. It happens almost every time the server crashes.

     

    People can do the same.. trading with each other. They can give ALL their items to someone else, and have that person log out. Then if the server crashes (or they know how to make it crash) they get all their items back and the other person has them too. Seems to me that in an MMO this is a MAJOR bug you would want to fix.

    FYI - I have completed my investigation into this matter. I am not convinced that MC_Boca purposley tried to scam Mitosh. However, this along with other issues which have come out have led the Council in IRON to decide that it is best MC_Boca not be allowed back into IRON.

     

    We have a strict code of conduct and do not feel that MC_Boca has lived up to it. Please accept my apology on behalf of IRON for this incident.

     

    Also, the items have been returned to me and I will be getting them back to Mitosh as soon as possible.

    Hello,

     

    For those who do not know me, I am IRON's Guild leader. And we do NOT allow any scamming or dishonorable play what so ever by our guild members.

     

    I have been gone for the past few days, I don't know why.. Things always seem to blow up when I am gone.. lol I guess when the Cat's away the mice truely do play. Anyway, be sure that I will get to the bottom of this..

     

    Also, if anyone has an issue with any member of IRON, please feel free to bring it to our attention first. We have a forum dedicated to handling issues with members of our guild on our site. Our leaders will not stand for any dishonorable play...

    I agree that the market is messed up. Especially swords! The solution is that there need to be items that only manufacturers can make. They don't drop from monsters and they can not be bought at a store.

     

    EFE prices will go up and down.. it's the nature of the beast. What I want to know is why the heck are people no longer buying Cuisses and Greaves?? I lowered my prices to INSANITY low and still no takers.. :)

    OK, in mythology when a unicorn dies the world begins dying too.. Now not to punish everyone, how about the player who killed the unicorn begins dying..

     

    For one in game day, that player will loose 10% (must be percent based) health every minute and food is only 25% as effective. This puts a burden on that player like a curse. You have to eat much more, and you will die over and over if you don't heal yourself which also adds a cost (HE).

     

    Seems like it's inline with mechanics you have in the game already (ie cold damage and 1 ingame day timer).

    If you want to see the item string for that given object, do the following:

     

    #define YOUR_TRADE_LIST 0

    You never mentioned what the reply to this looks like. Also, Since the image ID's are not unique, how are we to know what item is really in a given slot? do a look at trade item in that slot.. ok, then we get the reply but the reply does not say what slot the reply is for. So, if I send a look at every slot in inventory to determine what each item is (by description) then when the replies come back, there is no way for me to map them to the correct item slot.

     

    Since TCPIP messaging is async, there is not even a guarentee that my messages will get to the server in order. So I am having major difficulty telling the difference between different books which use the same image and items like LE and ELE.

     

    If there is currently no solution to this, can I propose implementing a UNIQUE id for each item? then also having an imageID. And add the unique ID to the all packets dealing with inventory and looking at an item?

     

    OR, add the slot to the reply for LOOK_AT_TRADE_ITEM (you would also have to add who's list, storage, inventory, bag, etc).

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    I also am not a crafter but manufacturer. I have long complained about the pricing of manu items, so I know how you all must feel.

     

    Therefore, I (and many in my guild IRON) support this strike. Also, Charn will not carry any rings or meds untill further notice...

    Hello All,

     

    Sadiq has applied for membership in our guild IRON. I have read all of the grievances above and after some deliberation I don't feel that Sadiq deserves to be labeled an outlaw. He was very forthcomming in the interview processs and told me about the above incidences. He as said that he is sorry and has learned it is not the right way to play the game.

     

    IRON has accepted him into our guild. It has been made plane to him that we do not tolerate any indecent or foul play including scamming and bag jumping. Any IRON member caught in such an act is immediatley kicked.

     

    That said, please feel free to let me know of any NEW offenses from this point forward and thanks for such a detailed account of his transgressions :)
