    Hmm, I have no automated way to start my bots, but I have not really needed it either. They dont seem to crash anymore (they did a little in the beginning).

     

    They do, however have a reboot command that players with certain rank can pm the bot with. This command causes the bot to close, open a new instance, and auto login. This is useful as guild members can reset them if they begin to act up.

    Hi All,

     

    I was just wondering what everyone does in the Palon Vertas area. I own the bot Shari and am looking for some input on how she could best serve the activities of those who spend time in that area.

     

    So, if you spend time in that area and have thought "I wish I could buy _____ here" or "I wish there was a market for me to sell _____ in palon vertas", let me know :whistle:

    Do we really want a game we play for fun to try to be as real as life? I think this may cross the line a little. Would stink to need flowers and not be able to get them. Would really hurt the economy.. imagine that everyone runs outa SR.. and none can be made..

    Are the summoning stones gonna be tradeable? seems kinda weird, Van_binsbergen makes a chim stone, then trades it to a lvl 1 newbie (or a lvl 13 like myself); can i then use it? seems a tad inappropriate for me to be able to use it....esp if i dont even have the animal nexus...

     

    but yet, you can use other magic items like rings

    I think it would also be cool if non-summoners could use the summon stones. This would add sellable items to summoners and help with the cost of all the feasting pots and items neded to make the stones.

     

    Plus then maybe I could summon a chim to defend me in pking areas..lol :icon13:

     

    also, love the idea that they reqire magic to use.

    Well, I have to say that I really like the cooldown idea and I hope it will stay. It would be wonderful if the food cool downs were a little less, but I think they are great.

     

    Also, Cooldowns on potions and rings makes a wonderful change in Pking. You can't just slam pots and stay alive forever. Please keep the cooldowns, and just tweak the times on food items to make them a bit more bearable.

    Well, I died.. and when I arrived on the scenes someone named Banurr was just getting on my bag. I pm'd him and he never responded. Then, he used one of my rings in my bag, and left me with veggies and such (which I didn't have to begin with).

     

    I think he was planning on leetting the veggies poof, then telling me that he was holding my bag and had to go afk.. what a scammer.. here's the chat log.. a bit one sided tho.. :D

    Cooked meat is 25 seconds.. and restoring 25 food. Making it the best/cheapest food for making things which require only one food (such as Fire Essense).

    PS - This is why Charn now buys/sells cooked meat for only 1gc. Please sell him any cooked meat that you have not used when you are done making items. This way, you can get them out of your inventory, and others who need it can buy it. This is being provided as a service to help you get along easier.

    Cooldowns on food.. does not work well. It magnifies the least fun aspect of the game.. the hard WORK (not play) of leveling skills up. Here is my work around..

     

    don't make any low level items anymore.. buy them from noobs who don't know they are slaves..

     

    lol.. food cooldowns are a bad idea.. I like the idea for balancing powerful things in combat and such tho.. like dis-rings.

    I do not want the dueling system abused for training. That's why the fight is always to death, otherwise people will find all kind of ways to abuse it.

     

    If the duel can not be used for training, then will we still not be able to train against guild mates? What is the point of a duel? How is it any different than a PK match?

     

    What we really need is a way to train against "safe training partners" such as other guild members. For this I suguest that in PK area, when you click attack on a guild member, it sends them a message saying that you wish to "train" or "spar" with them. Then they click attack on you to accept. Simple and easy.

     

    It is really not fun to Remove a guild mate from the guild, spar, then add them back in and adjust their level again :(

    I just hate that this topic is still active.. it's a bit mis leading when you see that the topic is "Charn is spamming me" and he did that for less than a week. All of such code was removed in August of 2005. Could we please close this topic and let it go away :D

     

    it's like a black mark on his history that will not go away :(

    How about a sparring option. It would work like this. I click attack on a guild mate.. and instead of saying "you can't do this" it notify's that person that you wish to spar. Then they click attack on me and the spar begins.

     

    This could possibly even be done on non-pk maps.. but I yield that to the overall opionon of the community.

     

    Any thoughts?? :blink:
