    Well just want to thank all that joined us on a lil sulfur gathering party in morc marsh We had fellow guildies, other guildies and un-guildies all working together for the same cause. Its going to be turned to fe, to make the bars, to make the swords... blah you know the rest.... Thanks again to all helpers

    The good people will need good knights in shining armour to defend them from the evil monsters, to protect the young and innocent, so fighters need to be able to choose to be good or evil. 'Good' manuers and alchemists could just stop making pots and essence that do bad things, so the evil fighters will need evil workers to supply them with their evil potions and weapons and essences. A divide line between fighters and workers wont be the same divide line as good vs evil? I still like the principle though

    What a cool idea I like the 'good people go to heaven' instead of the underworld suggestion too Also, you could be a bit good or a lot good - maybe if you *never* pk/pvp then you are really really good and never lose items when you die and go to heaven instead of underworld. But being so good would be very hard to earn, and obviously has major exp disadvantages. Maybe you gain like pickpoints to spend on your alignment, so you can choose to be good, and if you change your mind you can take evil points to bring down your goodness, changing the benefits/pitfalls depending on your alignment value. I know I look at this from a 'good' type point of view, but I am just too nice to be ebul lol

  7. Whats up with fire essences?

    Losing a few ingredients is no big deal - I mean, its only 1 sulf and 2 flowers....... its not like losing a heap of ore and coal when u fail a bar. I cant stand to mix 5k fe in one sitting even the old way, cos it gets boring. I mix smaller batches and go do/make/harv/manu/alch/fight/etc..... something else..... Its always seemed a bit odd to me that fe was fail-proof anyway. Its good preparation for the day you see 'you failed to make iron greaves, and lost ingredients'...... (efe go 'poof'!) To me this is a good plan, and I also like the stackable sr's, even though heavier - means I can carry more diff items Manu'able vials sure would be nice though

    It is a role-play game, not a get-murdered-at-every-turn game. Imagine a player whos chosen to make a char that specialises in alchemy & manufacture....... the char would be quite un-enjoyable to play if he was constantly losing 300 titanium ore on the way back into town, considering his attack & defence 'levels' are not what he wants to be bothered about. Really really really, please dont do it across EL, but by all means its a good plan for the odd map here and there.

    I vote no - it would be fun to run for your life, but not if it meant losing 1000's worth of stuff / capes/ etc when u die At the moment it is the players choice on how they want to deal with monsters - if u wanna run, then dont use monster mag.... More fighting and dying wont make it a better game I think. Maybe do it on a couple of maps where you have to go to harvest certain special stuff? so at least if you gotta run, you can prepare by not carrying valuable...

    Just a thought to enhance the process - If we needed pots to put them in, we could make them - 1. Harvest clay from the ground in certain wet muddy places 2. Start up a potters wheel (like a fireplace - a fixed thing we use) using an energy ess - the wheel runs for a minute per ess? (like a fire burning needs wood to keep going) 3. Clay is 'used-with' the potters wheel to make a wet clay pot 4. Fire the pot at a campfire, like cooking meat? Wet pots would be non-stackable (cos they would stick together) but fired ones could stack like beakers. BTW can we have anti-ageing skin replenishment beauty cream lol

    Hmm I like it and I dont..... Special days adds interest definately, but I would be concerned if logging in surrounded by bears or monsters, if they were suddenly aggresive - they are in a great many maps, and would kill a great many players. TBH it would seriously make me not play on a real bad day, except maybe an hour stocking up on rabbit fur on IP - hundreds of players at IP would cause some problems I think. Ordinary good/bad days when certain skills gain/suffer will guide players to play another skill for a while, or avoid certain places. They are good/bad days on which to do certain things, not good or bad days for everything This would be good, adding variety to the game. What if the Gods got angryabout something, and the 'bad day' would continue until followers of that god had made a sacrifice? Maybe the attack god stops all attack exp until followers of the god kill 1000 wolves? (make it a mid-level so that most followers can participate) Then followers of the gods would need to work together to calm him down again. If they achieve the sacrifice within half a day, then the god could be so pleased he gives 20% extra exp to followers for the remaining part of the day - turning a bad day into a good day ? Then players have a controlling influence over the 'quality' of the day.

    Not really a bug, just needs updating - when you talk to Atekel for the first time she tells you she wants rose quartz, but she still tells you to read the books from Golric at Lakeside Tavern - which of course he isnt there any more.....

    hmm maybe I should sit on this pile of shiny silver & gold bars I'm working on then, save them for the new quests.... If I leave them in storage - will I earn interest on my savings ? lol
  18. Map bugs in live version

    Bethel Map - when i go in the cave with the iron and the trucks, when i click the doorway to come out, i end up miles from the entrance of the cave. I end up at 15,79 way over on the left of the map. I think the same happened when i came out of another cave on the bethel map - but i cant find the other cave again to tell you which it was! lol btw irilion looks very very cool
