  1. Since basicaly EL has too little magic in it, I decided to suggest different ways of magic:

Warlock - Adept at making his enemies suffer. Maximised for damaging, and different negative buffs at enemies (i.e. reverse shield , -4 armor) . Natural MM for undead and summons. Hardest path to begin.

Mentist - Adept in the powers of mana. Maximised for mana burn, mana leech, and mana shield types of spells. Medium to begin. Halved mana cost for spells.

Druid - Adept at being one with nature. Can charm animals, which would behave like summons, after being charmed, adept at healing himself and others, with aoe spells, and target ones.

Powerweaver - Adept in the weaving of power, and conjuring. (hell, this shouldn't be here) After a kill, you could take the power of the victim, The higher level the kill, the more power you get. It will be a stackable , 0 emu, item. It can be used to give small, temporary enhancements to weapons, or to conjure new ones. However, conjuring an item should require loads of power, high level, and loads of mana.

Elementalist - This one is more than logical, elemental magic.

    Pimp around with the idea.

  2. Please don't vote for EL, if:

    1. You just want to backpat smn. (devs are the only exception, since they made the game, and im sure this is the best game on the market for them, or @least they're the only one that actually think so :P)

    2. If you want to become a mod ( m_a_ny ppls' case).

    3. If you haven't played Illa. (lotsa ppl's case on the wow vs. el poll)

    4. Because this the EL forum. (lotsa ppls case, i dun blame em)

Personally I haven't voted yet, because I'm waiting for name approval, but so far Illa looks a lot promising, and prolly may be more to my liking than EL. The thing I most liked about it is the exam style registration. This way, no one will beg as plx gimme wepon, or even in a more tormenting english ( english is not my native lang). EL's downside is that it's too easy to make a char. Everyday I see so many faces, that I've never seen before, but I rarely see them after my first time. The second thing about EL is that not enough ppl quit, and that the server allows up to 1000 players. This makes too many ppl offer stuff on the market chan, which they made whilst powergaming ( something I despise ). Powergaming is illegal in Illa, which is good, since I dun have to worry about levels.

    Here's my 2 gc. :P

  3. Well, the storages can be separate, with an export option, which pleases every1. Perhaps, there can be a bank transaction instead of an export to please any1 whining about time (like me, my time is too precious to be spent on EL), that would take a certain time per item - 10% time past, 10% quantity transfered.

There may be even contraband goods - goods legal in wuteva-the-current-continents-name-was, but illegal in the new one wuteva it is.

  4. Free are you sure it's cat of nine tails, cuz it has a lot more tails than nine. I'll check the book again. Oh, and another weap - a mace with three balls - with relativly long chains, so it can be used to slay fleeing peasants. Ur right bout the pk bit, but anything with the slightest hint of more violence, would be rejected I think. But compared to what i play, EL stands G for grandma. LMFAO - Atleast a T, rihihihoohooha, it has to get AO. :P

  5. Well, since EL lacks group activity, and especially group fighting (parties, groups, raids), we can add a new skill/mini game - Raiding. We can have npc towns, with destructible houses ( new towns, in the ghost areas of some maps), and ppl in them. It can add new weapons, that can only be dropped, not manued, crafted etc.

Weapon N1: IF WE GET RANGED WEAPS - Flaming arrows, normal arrows, but dipped in tar, we can prolly add tar/oil pits, so you can dip ur normal arrows in them. They can be fired @ a house/yurt and set it ablaze.

Weapon N2 : I've seen this on several documentaries about Ghengis Khan ( I don't care how you spell it, i know i misspelled it :P ), a rope/chain with spikes/nails. ONLY IF WE GET RIDEABLE STUFF, two horsemen are required to operate it. They hold each end , and pull it appart, whilst galloping, the thing wraps around a yurt/tent , and rips it off the ground.

Weapon N3 : Twelve cats whip ( direct translation from a book, my time is too precious to be wasted on a game I don't develop, or haven't been asked to make research for)- I think u imagine what it is - a normal whip , with 12 strings each ending with a spiked ball, STILL IF WE GET RIDEABLE STOOF ( image raiding on foot , duh). It can be used as a self-def weapon, or from horseback, to kill many unarmored targets that are fleeing.

    Weapon N4 : Bolas/Net to stop a target/s from moving.

Weapon N5 : Similar to N2, but for use on ppl, Perhaps looking something like a spiked net.

These would all require a certain raiding skill, like magic. Raiding can be lvled by using the upmentioned weaps, I'll post another batch , when i come up with new ones.

  6. Hmmm, I didn't have time to read my story. I had to clear up, that the plan for them is, to kill them selves (also missed to mention, they were total fanatics, I apparently crapped all over the story), so noone can be an actual threat to the council's power. Also they didn't kill Luxy, becuz he's way to 1337 4 them.
