    Flipping through my storage, I stumbled across a batch of MMD Rings long forgotten.

    Many weeks ago I started making them to sell off.

    With all the RL stuff that's been going on, they became forgotten.

     

    So,

     

    I have 21 MMD rings for 38k gc (normal 1900 each plus throwing one in free)

     

    Who wants em?

    What is the most efficient route to succes with minimum expenditure of time and gc?

     

    There isn't one. Every way to level crafting takes quite a bit of time and/or gc. Your options for the lower levels are pretty basic. Spend the time gathering ingredients to make thread, base rings, and/or vials, move on to polishing gems when you've read the books.

    If you make everything yourself, the only ingred cost is wine, and vial mold.

    Price of EMP's is and has always been 400-500gc.

    Personally I rarely make them, tho I agree, wonderful experience.

    By popular request, the ingredients everyone had to work with.

     

    ORE: 250 iron, 250 silver

    MINERALS: 150 coal, 35 diamond, 35 emeralds, 20 sapphires, 40 blue quartz, 160 reg quartz, 350 sulfur

    FLOWERS: 350 red roses, 350 snaps, 275 cotton, 10 blue lupines, 70 bsf's, 40 ogre toes, 30 yellow rose, 35 WALs, 35 chrys,

    FLOWERS: 35 imps, 35 lilacs, 35 tiger lily

    FOOD: 30 wine, 30 veggy, 100 fruit (alternate food source)

    MISC: 475 bones, 10 sanders, 40 leather

    POTIONS: 55 fp's

    After an inventory check, Contestants were led to secluded places and shown to three hyperspace bags FULL of raw ingredients with one hint given.

     

    "Rounder's, you spend your time outfitting friends and fighters, advancing your skills and knowledge with every update. You each will have a set of ingredients. It is up to you to make what you will of them."

     

    We were looking for armor, essence, potions, rings and/or medallions. Quantity AND diversity.

    The scoring process was very complicated and time consuming on all parts.

     

    Many thank you's to my fellow judges Aduard, Ferny, and MilesP, without whom this would have been impossible to pull off. As well as members of Riva and Tech guilds for help completing the prize packs.

    While I think the astrology gives the game an amazing twist in so many ways, I actually forsee myself taking the perk soon. My reasons have nothing to do with how it is or anything. Simply my inability to keep it all straight or remember correlations between effects.

    I also know, with Ent's sense of humor, it is extremely likely he has a hidden *uber* card up his sleeve waiting on a certain amount of people to take the perk before he implements some uber astrology related awesomeness.

    If so, then it will be up to me to determine if it's worth the fine to have the perk removed. lol.

    Contestants need to be ready, clothed and prepared with tools and skill pots (if wanted) at 10 minutes prior to the contest.

    Contestants will be pm'd with where to meet.

    Do not bring anything other than what you are wearing (items equipped), tools, and what potion, crafting, manu, and alch pots you feel you will need.

    No ess, no tele rings, etc.

     

    Everything NEEDED, except tools, will be provided.

     

    Good luck contestants!!

    You will need it.

    Be prepared to answer my call tomorrow....

    Everything you will need is provided EXCEPT tools.

     

    Contestants are responsible for bringing their own tools

    (which means is you forget ONE, you may find yourself in a bit of trouble)

     

    For definite time difference checking, pm me in game.

    (psst, you posted this at 11am my time 'Eastern time', if that helps)

     

    Don't bring anything other than what you are wearing, tools, and skills pots if desired.
