For those that don't know me, friends call me Shall (in EL that is) For those that do, here's something that's been in the works for awhile Granted, it's still under construction... thanks so much y'all.. broken bonds is the real personal story of the process i went through.. refinding the hidden parts of me that had stayed confined and "chained" for so long.. the "me" in it was the surface me.. what the rest of the world saw and knew the "her" was what I call the "essence of me".. the soul.. the artist, pure emotion.. the part of me that had not been allowed to surface in literal years.. as for help for the site, i have a programmer/coder.. the designer of the site, but he isn't as strong in graphics as he's like to be.. if you have ideas for graphics/pics/backgrounds for individual poems, email them to me at shallara@hotmail.com i will use the ones i think suit the poems themselves best, with props to the submitting artist, of course thank you all so much for your support and words of encouragement as any artist or writer knows, it is a vital piece of keeping that creativity alive

You know, I wonder if those that had such negativve responces would have changed your tune if it had been you or your loved ones in the path of the hurricane? Why can't you just show your support and concern for those you may know? It all boils down to something I bet ALL of us have heard at one point in our lives or another... If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all! OMG... the nerve of some people.... Best wishes to all that the hurricanes have affected.. Both Katrina and Rita As Ladywolf said.. here in northern Alabama, we've gotten away fairly mild, lots of wind and heavy rain, but not near as severe as others.. and for that I thank God.

Here's the thing.. people DO get married in game.. So when they no longer are friends, or don't want to be married anymore.. What is your suggestion? Are you supporting poligamy in game? Because there will either end up being divorces, or plural spouses.. Something to think about

I may not have all the answers, shoot, I don't ever profess to such a thing, yet I feel there may be a point or two that haven't been broached much. Let me compare the top 50 lists between manu and crafting... Both have a similar level spread from top to bottom.. Both require devotion and tremendous effort to gain levels after making the list I'll use the number 3 spot, and 45 spot for my examples Learner (level 35 manu in the 45 spot) would not even THINK of attempting items that Crannog (level 62 manu in the 3 spot) makes with ease.. Yet.. Lord_Vermor (level 34 craft in the 45 spot) is fully capable of making EVERY crafting item that Ghrae (level 53 craft in the 3 spot) still has to work on to level his skill Do you see the inconsistency? Remember, I am NOT a high level player fussing about new players flooding the market with high level items.. I AM the new player.. level 34 craft.. that the higher levels are 'fussin' about.. AND I FULLY AGREE WITH THEM There is a skill requirement discrepency between crafting and all other skills.. Wisedwarf briefly touched on it, yet didn't mention that other skill's higher level items have a larger spread in the level requirements for them Crafting is the only skill that does not How is this an incentive for players to level in crafting? It isn't... players will continue to be content barely over level 30, and able to make everything the highest crafters can make This is frustrating to the high level players, and, I have to admit, I have often felt like an intruder into the crafting world How can I expect respect as a crafter when I am STILL 20 levels below the high level crafters, yet we train our skill on the same items? This is all just my humble opinion, and what I have noticed

This is a little something I wrote the other day, and I am only posting by the prompting of those that have seen it. This goes out to all who have become true friends through a computer.. Black thumb effect- you can't harvest anything.. until.. hmm..say.. you have to 'click' a random ridiculous number of times oh.. and to make it more umm.. legitimate.. it can always be introduced as The Ring of World Turned Frenzied or something.. lol still a Ring of WTF

Well, when I first made my character, I couldn't think of anything that sounded *right*, so I started thinking of all the different fantasy books I've read, to come up with a name. Nothing from Ann McCaffrey's books seemed right, I've read nearly all of hers, and there were some others here and there, but nothing seemed to suit. Then Terry Brooks' books came to mind.. (if I'm wrong, I'm sorry, I do tend to mix up names) The Sword of Shannara series.. I have always liked the way that sounded, but it still didn't seem to fit me. I played around with several different forms of the word Shannara, substituting letters, and mixing them up, and finally, one just came to me, and it fit just perfect. I loved the way it sounded, and seemed to be more me than any other that had come to mind. Hence the name you have all come to know and love Shallara
