GIMP's interface isn't as obvious to the windows users, i suppose, but it's professional level software, it can do most anything you need... i'm guessing there's a save as, advanced option or something, or you can decrease colour depth and saving then may save at lower colour depth. if that doesn't help, google knows all

perhaps a title for the person who gains the most experience in each skill per week/month? adjusted for level, so a newbie who kills 100 rabbits can still get ahead of someone who kills 10 chims? and similar for each of the other types of skill... be a lot of work to keep track of all those stats, but a lot of people would be interested in the weekly/monthly type lists, so it could be reused

while this should be true, in many cases, it isn't. one of the things about windows media player is the visualisations... running those psychodelic patterns takes a lot of resources. even with that turned off, WMP is a resource hog, and switching to winamp or something else that's good at being a music player will help

what do you mean by upload? send them to the server? or play them through EL? if the problem is WMP taking up too much computer power, then get another player and that problem is solved. WinAmp is one example. The music area also has instructions on making a playlist so EL will play your own music, but that won't be as easy, and less control
