I saw a really good movie tonight. "Crash" *Note: Not the David Cronenberg movie. It is produced by Paul Haggis. And a relatively new movie. (Just out on DVD) If you get the chance, watch it. Very emotional, and lot's of meaning to it. ^_^

I keep being eaten by a Grue atleast every two minutes. *Added: I just reinstalled the regular client. I couldn't stay online for more than a minute at a time.

When I start my client it says the things that are found/not found and using/not using... Mine says: GL_ARBmultitexture extension found, using it. GL_EXTcompiled_vertex_array extension found, using it. Couldn't find the GL_*_point_sprite extension, not using it... GL_ARB_texture_compression extension found, using it. GL_EXT_texture_compression_s3tc extension found, using it. GL_SGIS_generate_mipmap extension found, NOT using it... Shadowmapping disabled (need newer hardware) GL_ARB_vertex_program extension found, NOT using it... What does any of this mean? Anyone know?

So, I couldn't sleep till I solved the problem. <_< (did I mention being stubborn?) I went to windows update and found that I couldn't even do that. I've been trying to use my MSN Messenger all day, couldn't do that either. Anyways...someone *Looks all innocent* did something unknown to cause this. I did a system restore to a prior restoration point and voila! Yay! Sorry for waisting space on this forum and others' time on my own mistakes. Down to two errors: Log started at 2005-09-14 00:10:03 Error: Can't open file "./textures/fontv.bmp" Error: Can't open file "quest.log" Don't know what else to do. Atleast my error log is down to 1kb per log now vs. 45kb per log Still unable to log in. It's late and as stubborn as I am, I'll give up for tonight and give it a fresh look tomorrow. Thanks guys/gals ^_^

In other words... Open notepad Click file - Save as - Then type in file name quest.log - Save it in your EL file (Usually C:\Program Files\Eternal Lands) That's it.

Okay, I tried what you said, Ember. But, still no luck. Infact, I erased the error log and tried to log in and still got the errors: Log started at 2005-09-13 23:40:33 Error: Can't open file "./textures/fontv.bmp" No Anim: ./animations/player_slash1.caf <---Still about 500 times Error: Can't open file "quest.log"

Well, I'm all out of ideas. I just got my new draegoni charater too. If anyone figures out what's going on, I'd love to hear it. Thanks to everyone who's tried to help me

The one I downloaded says el_110_install Do I have the wrong one? *oops. I see what you mean. The one on the EL home page still says 101?*
