  1. Tahraji Desert (spelling)

The Portland map says "Tahraji Desert" When you enter, it says "Welcome to Tajaraji Desert" Click the compas for "You are in Taharaji Desert" 3 different spellings
  2. carry

After you complete certain quests, you can go back to the person who gave you the quest and he/she will train one of your attributes for a fee.
  3. I understand there are plans to let a character buy a house with its own storage facility. How about allowing a character to buy a store instead (either a booth or a building) and the store would have its own storage facility just like the house. That's why you wouldn't be allowed to buy both. If a player-character-owned store had a storage facility that would facilitate the storing of stock and/or raw materials but you would have to either buy your supplies/stock from passers-by or you would have to leave the store to resupply. Obviously, the character can only transact business when the player is online and playing. I anticipate that the stores would be more expensive than the houses. Also, a store on the White Stone map would have some trouble with gargoyles killing your night-time customers. Portland stores would have goblin problems likewise, so player character storeowners might hire guards to escort customers or to keep the goblins off nearby streets.
  4. Not the Potion Lady !!!!

When I was working on potion making skill, I sold an awful lot of potions to the potion lady. It would be nice if maybe Trik would buy at least some kinds of potions if the potion lady is no longer around.
  5. skeleton goodies

Since I posted that I have gotten two rings of disengagement, one leather armor, one leather boots and another potion. Maybe I was just having a run of bad luck.
  6. skellies have really long, invisible arms...

They just need to shout louder. . . . oh, right - no vocal cords. nevermind
  7. skellies have really long, invisible arms...

Does that mean it won't be fixed? I have been spending a lot of time in the titanium mine lately and it's pretty bizarre fighting with a skeleton who is above or below you. Then when you kill it you have to go to the other level to check the bag for goodies.
  8. Until your friends list is implemented, why don't you and your friends all pick an unused channel and join it?
  9. Not the Potion Lady !!!!

Also, I hope the potion lady can find a new job after she's laid off. It'd be a shame to see her wasting her life boozing it up next to Andrew . . . Especially since someone went to the trouble of doing the artwork.
  10. Not only is the content pretty far out of date across much of the website, there are many typos throughout. I would volunteer to fix spelling and typographical problems throughout the website on a one-time basis if that would be helpful.
  11. The center section of the flower shop countertop in Valley of the Dwarves near 66, 172 has the flicker effect.
  12. My 0.9.4p1 client just failed with a Segmentation fault. I'm running Linux and was fullscreen at 1024x768x32 walking through Desert Pines forest. I just examined the error_log.txt and it contains 2649 lines of "couldn't find frame: x" where "x" is idleout01 for the first six lines and the last 8 lines. "x" is idle01 for all the rest. #glinfo reports Mesa DRI R200 20020827 AGP 1x x86/MMX/SSE NO-TCL . . .
  13. 0.9.4p1 Linux client Segmentation fault

OK, I retrieved the tarball from the cvsweb section of BerliOS and ran make. The resulting executable runs. I'll run it under gdb and see if the problem happens again.
  14. equipping fur hats

Multiple fur hats stack in one inventory block. I have three and when I drag them to the equipped block they all go.
  15. 0.9.4p1 Linux client Segmentation fault

I kinda thought it was the most recent patch since I haven't had any of the other problems. I haven't ever done debugging with Linux, but I decided to try running under gdb so if it happens again I might have more useful information.
  16. If the potion seller is removed, will the formulas for the two missing potions be added to the web site? The potion seller sells potions of combat and feasting that are not documented on the web site.
  17. The bug where a potion of defense cannot be made is still there. The formula creates a potion of attack instead. (So does the formula for a potion of attack)
  18. potion making bug still there

The website is correct. The program doesn't implement the potion correctly. The "create an attack potion" code is executed for both formulas.
  19. My American Heritage dictionary says Hephaestus was the Greek god of fire and metalworking identified with the Roman god Vulcan.
  20. Quest log

I had previously suggested adding all the quest dialog to your regular "conversational" log so you could review it later. Would this be an acceptable solution?
  21. Fishing!

I considered suggesting fishing long ago, but does this game really need another "sit-and-keep-clicking" skill?
  22. Gorlic Quest - Wraith number 3

I must have spent at least 3 12-hour days working on that quest before taking a break and working on skills. When I finally went back to it with no success, I asked another character in-game for a hint. That allowed me to find Faris. I had not remembered that the original quest specs mentioned Forest of the Fall, so I hadn't searched there. I spent much time looking in White Stone City and Grahm's Village. Then once I got to Andrew, I had a vague memory of a message on the bbs from months ago suggesting to keep giving Andrew drinks, so the rest took about ten minutes to complete.
  23. Expiring Bags and Client Crash

I haven't seen it in awhile, but at one point, some bags were unclickable for me. To see the bag, I had to drop an item there. The bag opened with my item plus the rest of the contents that I could then pick up. I figured it was a rounding problem due to scaling arithmetic done by my video drivers so I didn't report it as a bug. I blamed the inaccurate click on the arithmetic problem also (going to a location next to where I clicked instead of the exact location I clicked on - mostly noticeable clicking on bags or teleporters). I haven't noticed this problem lately either.
  24. Too dark night

I bet that the few folks who can't see during nighttime hours have the same video card. On my system, nighttime is barely darker than daytime (I have a laptop using an ATI RAGE controller and I mostly play under Linux).
  25. wrong flower map bug

In Portland Cave near 55, 154 is a bunch of flowers that look like Blue Lupines but produce Tiger Lillies when picked.
