I never use range lock when ranging with other mobs near. Much easier and safer imo to just hold the alt key.

For the next 240 hours we consume less food when we make items.. Thank you to all those who helped on this one, Angler who harvested gypsum and his team that hauled it. All those who donated the flowers, especially Kart who generously donated thousands to keep Darrock and myself from totally depleting our stos to mix the mops.

As far as an invasion happening in ii, the mobs will most likely be at portal spot (unless hidden). Simple solution, go the other way.

I use the horse whistles all the time. From what I have found, this is how they work. You mount the horse and initially have 15k steps (you can get off and on the horse as many times as you want), when you have traveled 14k steps, you will dismount but the whistle will still be in your inventory. When you remount, the whistle will disappear. From that point, you get 1k steps and you will dismount. However, if you have 2 whistles in your inventory, you will not dismount after the remaining 1k steps (the "new" whistle will have 16k steps)
Yes, the number of steps is linked to the char, not the whistle.
As far as using different colored whistles and which will disappear, I am not sure as I have only used the black.

I have just completed the quest and am heading to trigger the #day. From my experience with this, I have found that when I have gone on the dreaded ch6 and repeatedly posted the progress people will step up to help.

I also disagree with the idea of capping the mobs. With the current way they are capped (by a/d) it is very difficult for someone who is an all around player to kill or even fight multiple mobs that a pure fighter can kill. When I first started the 120-200 invance, all I could do was range. If you cap the mobs, I will most likely fall into the category of only being able to fight nasps/giants/dragons. I understand my build is my choice, but I see this as being a problem for more than just me.

That is a very good point Paul, and one that I was going to mention to Radu. The fact that he targeted Shy earlier shows that he knew the man was an easy target for more mayhem.
