  1. Prices are based on a supply and demand concept.

The supply would ultimately change, due to the rarity, they've fixed themselves at 17k. If they were being found at the same rate and being used less the surplus would go up. The more of an item, the less they are worth, because they aren't rare anymore. So, more supply actually pushes the price down. Since they are mostly only used for pk, they would end up costing 1/5 the price they are currently at now or some close variation.

  2. Kind of being redundant but a legend in my mind is DonPedro. He not only had stats, but he had the maturity not to abuse them.

Though the greatest all-round player IMO is blodoks. He's good at everything which is very hard. But he's also the BEST at the hardest skill to level in the game. So hands down, best is and will be til he quits, blodoks.

  3. Okay, I was just reading the thread about the rosto's and pkers are trying to make pking a bit funner and more active. At first I was thinking about arena-like maps, where there is a level requirement that would promote n00bs to pk a bit more, but then I remembered watching people at the dp arena lvl 39/39 a/d's abusing the system and staying the max while ruining the purpose of the map because noone would pk knowing their were maxers sitting there. The same reason they stay away from kf/nc/ect ect. You couldn't find a fair fight. So while a lot of people went there to watch. It was only the maxers that fought and most were just guild wars.

Now here's my idea, and I'm not sure if this has been debating already, which is probably has, but maybe it should be looked at again if it is. What about a map that you can only fight people the same level that you are based on your combat level.

Reasons this would be good. Most people only sit at arena's and wait for people they have 100% no doubt in their mind they can kill (kind of lame if you ask me). It will bring it the players that were mentioned in the other topic, 70's 80's that are getting owned and not coming back. Literally everyone can pk. It would make for a more balanced pk level system because it would make PK levels more based on skill and not (a/d/p/c/r/w/i/v) level. Say Harry 400/400 a/d kills 4/4 a/d billy all day and gets the highest pk score. Wheres the pride in that? (not actually sure this is how pk system works) This would make only the best players who make use of every avenue the game offers and try to tweak their skills in combat and not their skills in senseless powerleveling. Also I think even people you never thought of pking before would feel more comfortable coming to this map knowing they are only going to fight people of their level and have a good chance at defending themselves.

Downside of this of course is the high A/D players that have trained for years levels would count for nothing, which is why I'm suggesting there be a time limit in which you would be able to use this map. So people wouldn't use it all day every day. But they'd get bitten by the pk bug and want to train up their character to make it in the real pk maps, meanwhile honing their skills and bringing you guys a good fight when they get stronger.

Erm, doesn't matter to me either way I don't pk. So suggestions on good and bad. Just an idea...

  4. Does anyone know how I can setup a firewall on my router so I don't have to run a firewall on it? Or some kind of way to get past the firewall issue. There is no windows firewall AFAIK its windows 2000 and they just didn't have it til xp. Or does anyone know a firewall that takes up minimal resources?

Err.. my first thought was to suggest to donate that comp to a museum where it can catch dust in peace..

    lol :)

  5. I'm trying to run a crappy computer. Its just sitting there so I figured I'd put it to use and harvest. I can load most maps. The only map that has been successful so far was EVTR caves/underground. Every other map I load the map then "grue". If I press a button, same thing it loads then I grue. I tried WSC haz sto and the same result but it loads (shows character/picture) then grues.

I tried upgrading the graphics card and it won't load the game at all. So I had to reload previous drivers.

    Intel Pentium lll Mobile

    1200mhz

    261,040kb RAM.

    Radeon Mobility-P AGP 4x.

It's a laptop so its not upgradable.

Is there anything I can do, get a program, run a different el-client, adjust settings, anything to get this computer to work?

Also I've gotten games like voyage century to work on it. I don't know why there is a problem with eternal lands..

  6. After playing a few hours of the game my computer freezes.

Okay, this could be caused by 1 of 2 programs. The only things that have changed since my computer started crashing was the playing of this game, and upgrading my graphics driver.

My computer can well handle this game, and has taken 24 hour sessions of other games more advanced than this game.

  7. Well anyway the point of the post was to make invasions FUN for summoners. That doesn't sound like much fun to me. Anyway, anyone with some positive feedback?

EDIT: Plus I can't stand that close to that many monsters or I'll die. And if I were strong enough to do that I could just stand by with a sword... Hence the reason for using summons.

  8. I was wondering if the requirements could be lowered to summon things during invasions for the people who have the levels, "not summon stones". It would promote summoners to help and not be exclusively geared toward a/d builds. It would be only on the maps that the invasions are happening.

I don't mean the levels being lowered to summon, I mean less ingredients used. What would be a good scale I don't really know, and I'm too tired right now to even think about it.

I would really like to participate during invasions but this is the only way I know how. I'm sure there are other summoners out there who do not for the same reason.

Like say you wanted to summon a few yeti's. 7kgc for one summon per for an invasion that will only last a few minutes isn't worth the money at all. But I'm sure a lot of summoners would Drop 2-3kgc each for a yeti to enjoy the invasions like everyone else does.
